Gunboat just isn't my game. This was a rough one for me. It was tough to get any traction going with Germany aiding Russia against me and with very little else seemingly going on. Despite losing Norway early, I fought back and reclaimed it while Russia was distracted by Ukraine, and it just fell apart from there. |

There was one season where it felt like I was the only one fighting except for the crumbling Ukraine. Everyone else seemed to be throwing up supports and doing nothing. Except for the eventual survivors Germany, Russia, and Poland who were eating Ukraine and battling me. I was doomed when first France and then Spain decided their best option was to gang up on me instead of helping hold back Germany and Russia. We see how well that played out. At least I outlasted France. Spain doubled down on his questionable moves by then attacking Egypt. They might have survived if they had worked together. |

Anyway, congratulations to the survivors though it makes me wonder why no one ever plays for the solo anymore. I don't blame Russia who was always the junior member of the final trio, but Poland certainly had options to do more. |

This was a fun game. Now that it is over, I can say that I took over from the previous Russia, saw that he had a strong alliance and decided to keep going with it since doing anything else would probably be suicide since my units were not in a good position to do much attacking. |

I'm not sure if I would survive if I worked together with Egypt, but I probably would if I attacked Egypt earlier instead of betraying Germany. Germany defended very well, and while I initially had an advantage, this quickly turned against me. |
