25 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: Did one of you guys take that CD? Cuz I would like to know. Thanks!
25 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: Was not me. Also not sure what "CD" means =)
26 Sep 09 UTC Spring, 1902: CD means Civil Disorder.

It's what happens when you "drop" from a game.
26 Sep 09 UTC Spring, 1902: All of your units become stationary and they just perform "hold".
30 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: I am not saying that a Juggernaugt in the west poses a threat to everyone, but it certainly would seem that way...

Good luck, all.
06 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: I need to pause. My Dad's mom died and I have to go home.
06 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: I voted to pause -Luke
06 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: Paused - Kevin
06 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: Matt and Dave: Can either of you contact Joe to get him to pause?
06 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: In our other game, it didn't pause right, so I had to contact a mod to do it. Hopefully, there's enough time to trouble-shoot this one, if necessary.
07 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: Paused
07 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: Looks like we only have a limited amount of time to pause. It reset. I'm pausing again. -Kevin
07 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: According to my home screen, the game has been paused.
07 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: But it doesn't say that on this screen.
07 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: I have messaged a mod to pause our game.
07 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: The game status is showing as 'Paused' on the home screen now. I haven't seen the phase timer tick down in a couple days now so I think it's been paused and just not reflected in an overall status.
07 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: Oh, it was ticking down...
07 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: Here's a message I got from the mod that I messaged: "There is a bug with pausing that means that sometimes when it is paused it says that it is due now. This does stop people from being able to unpause, but a force-pause fixes it."
07 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: Thanks for bringing this to the mod Vince. I did see the due now status with no further information with time left for the current phase.
26 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: Unpaused, Aaron
30 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1903: F that... I just entered in commands 20 minutes ago.
30 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1903: Well, I suppose you can't win if you have a bad idea, get decieved and miss two turns :(
30 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1903: Dude...
31 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1903: Aaron's moves weren't inputted and my moves were inputted incorrectly. We have to move forward from here, but I messaged one of the mods about it and he said that to avoid this problem in the future, we need to finalize our moves.
31 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1903: It sucks, because I usually don't like finalizing --- but it's going to be necessary if we want to be sure that the moves we input are the moves that are going to happen. Dave, Matt ... if you guys want to offer your skills at improving this game, I'm sure they'd love the help!
31 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1903: And, in all honesty, since this game was started largely to teach Joe the game (which I think he has mastered), I wouldn't mind drawing and starting over.
02 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: Since I am next to be exterminated, I am voting draw -- but I understand if others want to continue to play.
05 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: I created a game, open to the public. It'll cost 51 points to play, but if any of you are interested in playing in an anonymous game, feel free to join up!
05 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: Gameid is: 15021
10 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1904: Would recommend everybody to finalize - the new system is still pretty buggy.
13 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1904: Whoo whoo! 300 points!
13 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1904: And none of them from any crappy gunboat games...
17 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: What is a gunboat game?
18 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Gunboat is a variant of the game where nobody is allowed to talk. Aaron got a bunch of his points by playing with a group of half-wits in a gunboat game.
18 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Well. I guess the diplomacy part of the game is done now. How boring.
23 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1905: It's 3 vs 2 and you three outnumber our SCs 22-12. Do you really want to play this one out? It'll be tedious and long.
23 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1905: Not to mention boring.
23 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1905: If I was playing with strangers, I would not be giving up because I could try to talk my way out of it, but I have no chance to change any of your minds and attacking Kevin right now would only make things worse for me.
23 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1905: I've entered in my draw vote. If you guys really want to battle it out for the next month, have fun with it.
24 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1905: I'm kinda with Vince on this. I'd rather we all start a new game than finish this over the holidays. It'd be a better distraction than eggnog.
24 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1905: Well, it will go faster if Vince finalizes his orders... :)
03 Dec 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: I just joined a league. I'll be moving all my units to non-SCs if I can, and without supports. You should be able to end this pretty soon.

Good game.
03 Dec 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: My moves this upcoming turn will be:
F Aeg Hold
A Bud to Gal
A Vie to Boh
A Tyr Hold
A Pru Hold

Should be pretty easy for you guys to take the rest from there, right?
04 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1906: There. Confirmed.
07 Dec 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Seriously? I told you I was moving to Boh. Now you'll have to support yourself in. I won't support hold. And Matt ... do you want me to Convoy Con to Gre? Let me know. Everything is just holding this turn.
07 Dec 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: No, no need to convoy -- thanks though.
08 Dec 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Good. Now all we need is for Dave to finalize and this game can be over.
10 Dec 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Seriously. You guys suck. Why am I still alive?!
10 Dec 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: By the way, I'm going to get on my soap box for a minute here.

This game (specifically this last turn) has done a good job illustrating exactly why I like playing with other people on the site better. Dave is, right now, essentially unstopppable. In this last turn, which was Autumn (aka stabbing season), he could have taken AT LEAST 4 SCs from Joe. Now, I know we're all teaching Joe how to play. But if that was the only goal of the game, then we'd have drawn after 1902, right? But if that move was possible, then the REF alliance would have broken down. The fact that none of you will talk or negotiate really takes away from the name of the game - Diplomacy.

And now Matt's going to win - without ever talking to anyone except me and Luke. Well done Matt.

But here's a challenge to you, Matt: Win this game without taking a single Green SC. With Budapest, you'll have 15. I think Munich, Berlin, and either Kiel or Denmark is well within your reach. Oh, sure, it'll be a slugging match with no talking, but that's what it would have been like taking all of my SCs if I didn't just give them to you.
16 Dec 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: Oh thank god...
