22 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: No, I think it is only your own unwashed socks ...
22 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Jugger anyone?
22 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: yeah... jugg starting in 1904 with 8 total SCs... I'm sure everyone is quaking in their boots...
Especially when they are faced by a 15 SC triple...
22 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: I'm shitting myself as we speak, 8 against 15 doesn't mean a thing when we're talking about the juggernaut:]
22 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: What are you guys talking about, i'm allied with England... we are going split it 17/17. Those other alliances don't stand a chance, sorry you guys wasted your 25 points! :P
22 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: I don't care for alliances. This game obviously has a Russian Solo Win coming !
23 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Hey, Timmi - I thought we had a 17-17 agreed.

You spurn me, Italy. So I declare war on thee!!!!!
24 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: lol whaat?
24 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: No funny stuff, Sayjo, otherwise you shall taste the steel of my sword too!! :-)

I hereby plan to launch a singlehanded joint invasion of both Italy AND Austria.
24 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: wow @ that turn... wow
24 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Hello Turkey. You suggested a Western triple??
24 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: England we finally have borders that can influence one another, I don't feel war would be very beneficial right now ^_^
25 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Okay, then, I hereby declare an immediate end to my invasion of Austria. All English troops within Austria will hereby retreat. :-)
25 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: haha, I must be retarded... everytime i look at the map it makes me really happy to have a "red" russia/moscow.
30 Sep 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: Strange - every time I'm left with Russia, I end up eliminated and feeling like a complete moron :)

It will be intriguing to see this game developing, even after I'm out :)
08 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: intriguing indeed. I've been doing rather badly in several games of late, but i stand by my never surrender never give up! I now feel like the weakest power trapped between two powerful two player allinaces...
09 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Italy , please consider finalizing, so I can get eliminated :)
09 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Yes, Italy - I just can't wait for Perry to be gone!!! :-)
09 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: There are few who can! :D
09 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: lol
09 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Oh poor perry - you're just happy because you're about to get a draw with me in the other game!! :-)
09 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Oh sure :)
And we are going for a 2Way in that one, right? :D
09 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Sssshhhhhh...... Don't tell my ally!!
09 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Hell, noone is listening , except rfor a bunch of trustworthy Diplomacy players!
Who would tell!
09 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: who indeed?

besides who would trust what one of thest 'trushworthy' players says...
09 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Heh, not to cross-talk, but a 2way? Does that ever succeed? 99% of the time, there is a greedy stab near the end to get the last 2 or 3 SCs... unless you have two guys with great understanding of draw lines, that is...
09 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: or they don't have units anywhere near their borders, and don't bother building up to ~16 units. (stoping at 8, say) and fighting away from each other.

actually i have seen people tie on 17-17 and happily not stabbing their partner.
09 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Those 17-17 often come from PPSC, right?
Anyhow, if jarrah says just about anything - who would believe it , right ;)
09 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: I've tried that but have only found stabbing partners lol I'll get that 17-17 one day
09 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: I've seen plenty of 17-17's in WTA pissed me off
10 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1907: haha!! Sure, Perry, we can get the 17-17 in the other game can't we!?? Let me think about it for a second.....

12 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: ah, smart... I was contemplating hitting smy in case con-black happened, oh well. GG all.. enjoy the aus win (unless italy will stab him, which I see as extremely unlikely).
12 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: Try it anyway without telling him and see what happens! :-)
12 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: I almost wish I could get convoyed to syria so I can be 'bannished' to another country instead of wiped out (hey, it's roleplaying, but it softens the blow of defeat!) ;)

Best of luck to you guys... hope to play with you again.
12 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: wow... look how many of us are on! its like a freaking live game.
12 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: is it three? four if you counted italy, but i can't see him anymore...
12 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: also turkey, you could support armenia into smyrna, (and have austria cut con with bul) it's not over yet... not that i'm encouraging a stab... oh no, i'd never do such a thing...
12 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: France really doesn't like losing.
12 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: i love losing, that means the game is hard, and i'm having fun - easy things are boring, if no-one fought against me that wouldn't be any fun... and as you amy know, Dip is a game of 1 winner and 6 losers, so i usually enjoy it as i usually lose.(except when i don't)
12 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: lol well that is fun but no that isn't dip. You can't dictate that dip has 1 winner and 6 losers regardless of the mainstreamed idea of how it is to be played on this site suggests.
12 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: I would have to agree with Sayjo, even though he is trying to make me a loser as well:p
12 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: i'm pretty sure it is the mainstream opinion. but specifically the type of play on this site which we're engaged in is Winner-takes-all, specifically rewarding winning and nothing else. (ok a draw is preventing anyone from winning, but it's not winning yourself.)
12 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: My perception of win is obviously not the same as yours.
12 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: but if you care to read the rules on the matter i beleive you will find :"As soon as one Great Power controls 18 supply centers, it’s considered to have gained
control of Europe. The player representing that Great Power is the winner."

(see here: http://www.wizards.com/avalonhill/rules/diplomacy_rulebook.pdf )
however, My point was, i enjoying playing, even when i'm losing.
13 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: As do I, but a rules ruling isn't gonna change how I prefer to play this game other than keep it focused with boundaries.
22 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1909: draw?
29 Oct 09 UTC okay... I see where we are. I'll draw. good game.
29 Oct 09 UTC I'm shocked, all my good work has resulted in nothing but a wipe out by a player who is willing to draw. You could at least have included me in the draw.

But then after the way england behaved i'm glad i didn't try working wih him, at least Italy was fun to work with, still, i can't believe you killed me, especially when you are so close...
30 Oct 09 UTC @orthaic: well, I was honest. I didn't try stringing you along like I might have done to other players in other games. I think you played really well though - you, with just 2-3 units kept back the entire English army almost singlehandedly.

This game I just honestly said I didn't think I could work with you. Possibly, I could have been a bit... well... creative? and tried harder to get you to help me, but I thought I could overpower you easily - in the end, all I won from you was Bre. So well done there.
30 Oct 09 UTC yeah, you got brest, but i think i started by offering you brest...
still i was forced to fight you instead of being able to do what i wanted which might have involved dealing with italy... oh well i did my best, and lost. Well done to you all.
