11 Dec 13 UTC Not sure who I'm more angry at right now...Russia for taking advantage of the CD to get a solo he wouldn't have otherwise gotten, Italy attacking Germany instead of stopping Russia, Germany for CDing, or myself for changing, but not saving, my moves last year that would have taken Sev and held Bul. Argh, this one stings.
11 Dec 13 UTC Good game everyone.
11 Dec 13 UTC I would have voted draw after the CD's if everyone else had...
11 Dec 13 UTC good game Russia. Gross the number of CDS. And I hate that it doesnt count against E, F, or G.

Italy - brilliant open that I hadnt seen before. I trusted too much in the traditional AI gunboat alliance. I almost always cover trieste, but experimented. To my detriment. But at least the old saw held true. AI live together or die apart.

Have a good night all.
11 Dec 13 UTC That was a fun game until the CDs ruined it. I wasn't expecting you to stab me when you did (although I saw the possibility of it). I didn't think it was the best decision (granted, it's hard to be unbiased), but you got the win (due in large part by CD), so congrats. I don't think you would have soloed otherwise, but the way Ital was attacking Germany, maybe you would have.

I dont understand why Italy was sending fleets my way...They were drastically needed in the North. I also don't get why he attacked Germany while he was trying to hold those last centers from you.

I'm angry at myself. I changed moves to I would have had an Army in Sev (you would have had a 50/50 guess at taking it back though, if you tried), and would have not have had to waste time gettting Bul back. Then again, it likely wouldn't have mattered, since Italy was intent on clogging up the southern Balkans area with useless units, instead of heading toward the Atlantic where you had free reign.
11 Dec 13 UTC Virt, it's not super common, but not unheard of. In fact, I don't think roka even really know what he was doing, in terms of that opening. More properly executed, he moves Venice to Trieste and Piedmont to Tyrolia (which is actually what I thought was happening when I saw it unfolding live), and with his army build in Venice, Austria is in for a world of hurt.
