Game drawn
05 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2: While I may be a man of my word, Egypt you are not.
05 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2: Rome, would you like to call a truce? and maybe help me with the Egyptian threat?
05 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2: Gotta expand somewhere. This whole open-messaging thing makes treachery that much more biting.
05 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2: Rome: I propose an offensive alliance against Carthage. In a large pincer movement, we both stand to gain.
05 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 3: Egypt: Moving against Greece... if you can spare a fleet or two to help against their sea-routes that'd be appreciated.

Rome: Interested in coming in against Greece as well?
05 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 3: Haha. Notice Rome supporting me in to Dalmatia? He has no reason to come to your aid - he has to either support Carthage or join in on the slaughter. And Egypt, it's up to you. But I have no beef with you. While I could spare a few fleets to harass your coastline should you move against me, I'd prefer to let you focus west, and I'll have a good time east.
05 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 3: Rome, would you like to demilitarize Dal-Vind, or are you more at peace leaving units there to stare at each other? I'd obviously prefer to have the army for my eastern assault, but I can understand if you'd rather follow the old "trust but leave a tank behind just in case" mantra.
05 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 3: Greece: I merely asked if Rome was interested in attacking you... no need to overreact...unless...you know...guilty conscience.
05 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 3: I hadn't said anything for a bit on the interesting stuff happened down in Africa, so I wanted to chime in. And when you ask two people to gang up on me with you, I think it's fair to say that I have a few chimes to contribute.
06 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 3: A chime in time saves nine?
06 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 3: ... Persian code for everyone attack Greece if you can.
06 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 3: Wink wink nod wink nod nod wink nodwink...left right, A + B, start button.
06 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 3: So Rome here, sorry about not being too talkative
07 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 3: Rome, are you going to move out of Vind? I'd appreciate it...
and Egypt, once you're done with Carthage, I'm fine if you want to help me out in Persia. But if you'd rather go toe to toe with Rome, I'd be entertained by that as well. Either way though, I don't think our interests are opposed. I'm willing to partition the purple lands with you, or turn a blind eye in Rome.

(Don't take that the wrong way Rome - I don't plan on attacking you at all, as is evidenced by my moves. And should Egypt roll you, I'm even willing to offer succor. But for the time being, I don't want involvement either way in what's happening out west).
07 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 3: :)
07 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 3: Greece, ever the diplomat. I have no long-term plans, those are all contingent on future circumstance. For the time being, my target is the liberation of North Africa.
07 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 3: My people already live freely. They don't want to live under Egyptian domination.
07 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 3: Nonsense! All free people wish to pledge allegiance to Pharaoh.
07 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 3: From one despot to another, I salute you son of Horus
07 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 3: Egypt, While I respect wanting to liberate the Northern Africa, if you still wish to have peace with Rome I'm going to have to request that you move your fleet out of the Gulf of Tacape.
07 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 3: That's an odd request - why? I'm open to working with you on this, but the fleet is busy support-holding my position this turn.
08 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 3: Rome, I could be your pawn in a war against Egypt...
10 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 4: Persia - would you be alright if I swapped my army in Petra with a fleet in the GoP? I'd like to maintain one unit over there, but I could make better use of that army elsewhere. Let me know if that's acceptable.
10 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 4: Rome - if it's not doing anything else, I'd appreciate a move against Carthage to remove support.
10 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 4: That sounds find.
10 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 4: Egypt: Go ahead.
12 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 4: Rome: I'm content to stop my northernmost advance at Chersonesus and will assist you into Dacia if you so desire.

Egypt: No changes to our 1-1 DMZ.
12 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 4: Persia, sounds good
12 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 4: Ugh, dammit. Thought I'd be back in time to put in my other orders.
13 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 4: Rome: Helping you into Dacia as planned

Egypt: No other changes.
13 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 4: Woe is me...
13 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 4: Egypt, shall we band together to crush Persia?
14 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 4: Rome - think you could help me out again? Maybe this time I'll remember to put in moves.
Greece - I feel your pain and wish you no harm, but you're on your own. I don't think it's in my direct or indirect interest to ally with someone who's about to lose another handful of SCs.
17 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 5: I don't know what you're talking about. I got this, no problemo. Boo yah. Here I come.
17 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 5: Rome: I'll continue putting the squeeze on Greece towards the Aegean, we're good up north.

Egypt: Maintaining :D
17 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 5: (PS: Hope you heal fast Andy)
19 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 5: Rome/Egypt: No changes to plans.
19 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 5: Thanks for the updates, Persia! Maintaining.

Egypt: Need help vs Sparta?
24 Nov 13 UTC Greece has left. Should the three of us just draw?
