28 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 5: 8-)
28 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 5: I would be diassapointed if everyone turned on Greece, but Greece had a great weekend and didn't really think about diplomacy that much
28 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 5: any chance your fleet in the Gulf of Tacape can hit Leptis for me in the fall?
28 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 5: It depends, i was going to take Leptis for myself- and I'm getting a little concerned from your two army movement towards Dalmatia
28 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 5: You taking it works, I just don't want Leptis attacking me in Numidia when I'm trying to take Thapsus.
28 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 5: And the elephant band played on...
29 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 5: So are we going to draw once egypt is destroyed or is there going to be a duking it out?
29 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 5: So are we going to draw once greece is destroyed or is there going to be a duking it out? ;)
29 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 5: Carthage Hotel and Casino in tax free Baleares, bargain rates when you stay 3 full nights....
29 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 5: If/when my empire dies off, can I "retire" there?
29 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 5: Sure! I recommend the Exiled Emperor Buffet... 20 percent off your entire check when you show your official impoverished robes logo!
29 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 5: What a deal! I wouldn't be surprised if Persia, Rome, and Greece let me live just so I couldn't enjoy that buffet.
29 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 5: Persia, I'm willing to move out of chersonesus if you are willing to move out of sinope
29 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 5: sure
29 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 5: .... Did not expect to take memphis with one army. Guess I should've set someone else to move to Thebes. Oh well.
29 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 5: Just to put it out there, I am not adverse to a three way draw (sorry Egypt) but I would like to play out a couple more years to see what happens if people are okay with that.
30 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 5: I agree. I can't quite stomach so simple a game.
30 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 6: So I'm pretty content to see what happens in the upcoming Rome/Greek conflict. It's tempting to attack Greece with you, Rome, but until you lose a few SC's I see that as likely giving you the win. So I'll wait on the sidelines, having fun at the Library of Alexandria.
30 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 6: Check out the book of lost elephants :O
30 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 6: If you change your mind you know where to find me, but I completely understand your logic. Read some of the lost manuscripts for me!
31 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 6: This board looks like a strange type of Neapolitan ice cream.
31 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 6: lol
31 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 6: If you're in Tarraco...that ain't ice cream...
31 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 6: Strawberry, Lime and Black Raspberry. Egypt can be the cardboard at the bottom of the container.
31 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 6: Greece can be mint... I have a story about mint ice cream...
31 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 6: and it is a much better flavor, esp if the SCs are chocolate chips
31 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 6: Mmm, nestle morsels
01 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 6: Rome, I have a move order set to Sahara... I put it in on the assumption that you have one set from Mauretania, so we'll bounce. If you don't bounce me and the move goes through, I won't attack you in the same way I won't attack Greece - I'm just positioning myself for all eventualities. I expect to bounce though. I'd rather it be unoccupied.
01 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 6: well played egypt. I got caught looking too far ahead
01 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 6: Commentary: And the Egyptian navy decides to search for the Holy Grail in the Canyon of the Crescent moon.
01 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 6: I can understand why you don't want me there Persia, but I'm just trying to get enough units in position to make progress against Greece, esp as I screwed up in Europe
01 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 6: Why would he want you to move against me? if you crush me in Europe and hold north africa you win
01 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 7: #Drama
01 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 7: we could draw once petra is destroyed
01 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 7: "How much is Petra worth?"
"Nothing."
"Everything!"

(yes I know it's "Jerusalem")
01 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 7: Or draw now... ;)
03 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 7: welp, in my excitement of watching the game, i totally forgot to put in my moves
03 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 7: In my excitement of watching the game I put my moves in rather idiotically
03 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 7: Material for a blooper reel *nod*
03 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 7: Any chance we can reach some kind of arrangement Persia? A two way draw perhaps?
04 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 7: two way draws never work, rome will come too close
04 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 7: What do you have in mind, Rome? I lean towards Greece's position, especially since you have a two SC lead atm (and yes, I acknowledge that that is my own fault - Egypt should be long gone), and you are in position to gobble up several more before I can get in on that action.
04 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 7: If, say, you were willing to assist me into Cyrene and Leptis and then entirely vacate north africa, I might consider it.
04 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 7: You drive a hard bargain Persia. I'll think on it.
04 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 7: I'd probably accept your terms so long as I keep a small garrison in the remains of Carthage for defensive purposes. Otherwise it may be time to draw once you finally finish off Egypt.
06 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 7: C'mon guys. It's ok to just ready your orders at this point in the game, if the immediate plan is to just kill me off and draw. Why drag it out?
06 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 8: Maybe they're keeping you around for good luck...like a mascot.
06 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 8: :p
06 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 8: If you just moved out of Petra, you would be gone a long time ago! Grr...
07 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 8: So I'm feeling a bit sick. Therefore, I refuse to be held responsbile for any of my moves this round. The map just looks all pretty and stuff.
