11 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: Kentucky / tenessee? All added heart sounds to me
11 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: Well - are you up for the Tennessee waltz?
11 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: Ok.. I will support you Deep south - Tennessee
11 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: Thank you. And I will support you into North Carolina.
11 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: Actually, I didn't notice this before; if you were to attack North Carolina from the East Coast with support from Georgia and I were to attack Tennessee with support from Missouri, we both win our supply centres.
11 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: I know that Jacksonville is your priority but (no urgency), when you get around to it, could you clean up that G-d awful orange smudge in the Florida Panhandle. It just uglifies everything.
12 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: Heartland, I know that you are pretty set on killing me, but I would like to point out that other than Florida we are now the two weakest countries/state/territories or maybe provinces? anyway, I do not see that changing unless we can pull off an alliance. What do you think?
12 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: Thinking is not something that I'm particularly good at. I don't mind overly much - you can't be both smart and good looking and I'd much rather be good looking.
12 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: The sad truth is that I'm not all that much to look at either.
12 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: Concerning your very kind offer, whom do you propose I attack? Both Texas and British Columbia have been exemplary in both tone and comportment. I will endeavour to protect what is mine to the best of my abilities but as you so rightly pointed out, I am hardly the gorilla in the room. Furthermore, I have to assume, given past behaviour, that the only reason BC is in the Dakotas is that it is the only avenue available before he hangs a sharp right. As fond as I am of Nebraska, I can live without it for a season or two.

Texas has been of great help to me and I will not attack Texas for all the chipoltes in the world.
12 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: Lastly, I also know that the very second I turn my back on you, I will look down and see the tip of a stiletto (knife, not shoe, but knowing some New York socialites, those are even pointier) sticking out of my belly button.
12 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: If you can figure out how we can get out of this conundrum, I'm all ears. Pending such an epiphany, I regret that I do not foresee my plans changing any time soon.
12 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: Texas, I would like to take this opportunity to say that you for Tennessee. Alas, it doesn't translate into a build because my alpine escape has been repossessed but I am most grateful. As promised, you can count on my support into North Carolina.
12 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: Heartland, I see your point. You are allied with all suronding peoples except me, but I don't see a war between us get either of us anywhere fast. it will be brutal and slow and by the time it is over some other country will be claiming overall victory for themselves.
I would recomend helping Texas attack Brittish Columbia, but you are allies with both countries, I see that you have no other option but to have a war, and that will lead to the ultamate demize of the both of us.
12 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: Woah New York c'mon man, can't we just all be friends. Except for Texas we don't need to be friends with him.
14 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 2005: GameMaster: Yaniv was banned: multi/meta/no reply. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
16 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: I was banned. I pleaded my case because I ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY DO NOT METAGAME AND DO NOT CHEAT. And I've been re-instated. I have to tell you though that it leaves an unpleasant taste in one's mouth. I used to think that everyone that was banned was a downright cheater and couldn't understand why. Now I'm less sure.
16 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: Florida sympathises with your case. We had a recount once.

Because of our good attitudes would you kindly help us survive?
16 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: I would like to, but I'm not sure that there is much I can do. As you see, due to these trying circumstances, I missed a phase and have certain consequences to contend with. NEW YORK has taken Manitoba. Oh well - he is welcome to the tennis ball sized-mosquitos.
16 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: QUÉBEC, despite everything that has gone on in the past between us, it is my intention to support your unit in Montreal but to do that you must stand still.
18 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: BC - does the "B" happen to stand for "Brutus" by any chance? I would New York to be proven right. I will never hear the end of it. Tell me you simply took a wrong turn and you intend to back out pronto pronto. All will be forgiven.
18 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: I am terribly sorry I forgot you regained playing status and thought it was another heartland playing. I will give it back to you and help you take Manitoba as well
18 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: BC - I knew you had it in you. That means I can go back to collecting supply centres that start with the letter "M".
18 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: Thank you for preserving our nation New York, we won't let you down!
22 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: BC, are you willing to vacate Minneapolis? Do I have to pull westwards to defend Missouri? There is a rather straight and elegant border running from Houston / Louisiana north until the Dakotas
22 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: until the Dakotas / Minneapolis. Can I convince you to keep to the western side of said border? Not only would this enable me to focus my rather limited resources without worry (those forehead wrinkles and the bemused expression that it engenders are so unbecoming, don't you think?) and aesthetically the two tone effect of yellow bordering dark blue is rather fetching if I don't say so myself.
22 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: Montréal, if you are not going to lunge for Québec City (a likely bounce as Ungava will likely endeavour to reoccupy it with or without support from the Beauce), may I ask you to support my unit currently in Ontario into New York State? The move likely won't succeed but if it does, I'm taking it as understood that that you will not then endeavour to snatch Ontario from me. No response is necessary as this is our little secret - you don't know which tawdry, stilleto wearing, overly made-up, east coast lawyer's socialite arm candy might be eavesdropping. PS: Well done in Greenland. It's green!!!

22 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: Oh and BC, I will of course leave Minneapolis in your temporary stewardship until after you've managed to evict FNY (fleet New York) from Manitoba.
22 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: Unless of course you intend to attack from Minneapolis with support from Saskatchewan in which case I would kindly like permission to occupy Minneapolis this turn in order to profit from the build.
22 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: Heartland I cannot support you into New York as Montreal does not border it and therefore there is not the option to support.
22 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: You are absolutely correct of course. My map reading skills seem to lack a certain "je ne sais quoi". In that case I will continue to support you in Montreal. May I please ask that the support be reciprocated?
22 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: Greetings all - I risk being unreachable for the next 30 hours or so. I will endeavour to check in but I can offer no guarantees. Have a great weekend.
24 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: The Floridan nation requests the patronage of a great power. We will exchange out self determination for continuity of our state
24 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 2007: New York - this is your "I told you so moment". As I'm likely to be to crushed between you and BC, I will move all of my resources westwards in order to help you build yourself up. BC, the reason I'm doing this is because I feel that you have been duplicitous. Ah well - them's the breaks.
29 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 2008: Greetings all! Will be unreachable until Saturday night.
06 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2009: BC - are you willing to allow me to at least survive the game with one unit? Please?
15 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2012: BC and Quebec, in light of the fact that there is supposedly zero communication expect on the public board, how did you arrange for a supported attack on Michigan? And does this mean that you do not intend for me to survive this game because if so please simply say so. At least I will have a realistic expectation of the future.
15 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2012: BC I would Like to see peace between us. For a fear that soon we will have common enemy.
15 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2012: I would very much like that
15 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2012: secondly, It seems to me that in order to fight this common enemy we need as many armies on the front lin as possible so I propose that I take Oregon and I will allow you to have North Carolina. can you agree to this?
15 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2012: That seems quite fair.
15 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2012: NY will you be on my side or not? Up to now I refrain from attacking your units, should I go on like this? Next turn Your flag could unfurled again on Virginia and Tennessee ... it's up to you, just let me know
16 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2012: You are too close to winning, nothing that you offer me will be enough.
16 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2012: While anything you offer me would be gratefully accepted, though I strongly suspect a little too late to make much of a difference to little ole me.
16 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2012: My poor friend Heartland, I will do all my best to help you but I suppose you're right, maybe it's too late
20 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2013: BC I am supporting you from Virginia to North Carolina
21 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2014: Heartland how can I help you to' survive
25 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2014: Peru, please just keep the pressure on Missouri. And thank you.

PS: Merry Christmas to all from Montreal, Canada.
25 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2014: Feliz Navidad!,
