03 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Guys,

this was intended to be a "Public Diplomacy" game, ie private messages are not allowed (I already received several messages from you). All communication should take place in the Global Chat only (or we could open a thread on the forum).

I assume that most of you were not aware of that when joining the game. That's fine but we have to figure out how we want to play this game: regular or public. For now I ask you to stop writing private messages until we have made a decision.

So I ask everyone to please write on the global chat what they think and how they would like to play this game. I vote for Public Diplomacy (much more demanding and fun).
04 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Sorry- did not realize- Public is OK with me. Be first time.
04 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1901: With only 2 hours left until the first phase closes and only one answer I guess we can declare this a "normal" game, ie private messages are allowed.

Good luck everyone!
04 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: And Turkey sits on his butt, in what may be the ONLY way to risk failing to build in 1901. Well DONE, sir.
05 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: OMG, I just read this... I'm sorry.. I've spoken to everyone already (many times now).

I'm sorry I screwed the pooch on this one :(
06 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1902: I've never done this before, but now that Turkey is CD we could make a post on the forum and look for a 7th player. What do you think?
06 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1902: I say go for it. Sleeping countries are no fun. Good luck getting anyone to go for it, though.
06 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1902: We definitely need a Turkey.
07 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: Welcome Turkey!! We finally have a new Sultan for the great Ottoman Empire!
13 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1904: Wow! Two holds :(
19 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: Well, Italy is cutting it close.... certainly don't want to see him hold twice in a game :(
01 Sep 09 UTC Spring, 1910: Heute Europa...
