02 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Dear Austria,
personally I favor the Lepanto above anything else. I especially like the key Lepanto, as that doesn't raise as much suspicion as a normal Lepanto.
(as I see that this is the first game of your account: you can sift through the sites of the diplomacy archive to get some ideas of occuring strategies. e.g., http://www.diplomacy-archive.com/resources/strategy/articles/illogical.htm )
02 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1901: ah, that's not very usefull to put that in public...
02 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1901: shh it's a trick. Your real plan is to swing over and hit france
02 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Zut Alors!
02 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Postpone all offers until tomorrow, please, going to sleep now.
02 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Nighty-Night
17 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: ha
24 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: Russia will you make your move.
24 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: I have a feeling Russia has bailed. Turkey, I applaud your willingness to stay with the game even in dire circumstances.
24 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: yeah I suck but you know this was only my first game.
24 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: Doing okay for a noob! I'm pretty new at this too. Keep playing!
24 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: I will do that I am just trying to survive.
24 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: Doing okay for a noob! I'm pretty new at this too. Keep playing!
25 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1905: why hasn't Russia been put into civil disorder yet?
25 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1905: apparently he either misclicks on this game or is actually interested in the outcome. Looking here resets your CD-status
25 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Don't know where "here" is, and what is CD-Status?
25 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1905: here means, here, in/at this game. With CD-status I mean the counter that keeps track whether people entered/saved orders. It starts as blank, when people miss one turn it goes to "Missed last turn", missing two turns in a row yields the so-called "civil disorder" or "Left". Viewing the game (http://www.webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=125446) resets this counter to zero (blank), even if that player has already "Left". By absence of a better word I could think of to properly describe this effect/site behavior, I used CD-status. I guess 'real' webdip vocabulary is slightly different.
25 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Thanks for the explanation - I appreciate it. Weird that viewing the game resets the counter.
25 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Well, I didn't contribute to the source code on this site, so I can't help you with the question why the counter gets reset.
26 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Russia has bailed.
26 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1905: And Turkey battles on :)
26 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Yep trying to anyways.
