29 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: I almost said "Allons-y!", but I suppose I'll go with "Cheerio mates!"
30 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: Game prediction: England and Germany battle France on the northern front. Italy battles France on the southern front. France loses. Meanwhile, Russia and Austria battle Turkey. Turkey loses. Soon, England makes a move toward Scandinavia and eventually into northern Russia. Germany pushes on Russia as well, while mopping up France. Austria, now with Turkey dead, shifts toward Italy and destroys Italy, while simultaneously moving against southern Russia and the now-Russian formerly Turkish lands. What do ya'll think? :P
30 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: Maybe if France would have bounced Marseilles he would make a more attractive ally
:p
30 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: Just a heads up, I will be out of town this weekend so might be a bit longer in making a move.
30 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: Cool, just try to check in when you can :)
30 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: I'm going to be pretty busy over the weekend too (yay for surprise visits from the in-laws!) so I'll probably just let this phase run the full time so we aren't scrambling to get orders in right in the middle of the weekend. The next phase should have a deadline of Monday night (assuming I'm doing the math right?).
30 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: Sounds good. Let's make sure to get this one done so we don't have t worry about it tomorrow night
11 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1904: "Austria, now with Turkey dead, shifts toward Italy and destroys Italy, while simultaneously moving against southern Russia and the now-Russian formerly Turkish lands. What do ya'll think? :P"
11 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: Me? A Germanic nation getting embroiled in a two-front war? I think not, sir.
11 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: "Itsa me, Mario... " #Stereotypes
11 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: Nobody wants to attack Syria in this game...
12 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: I would have invaded me too.
15 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Neither Germany nor France moved in what is possibly the most critical season of the game so far!
15 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Permit me a cruel chuckle
15 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: I notice England wasn't calling to remind me that i needed to place moves
15 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Haha. England was in church this morning. :p
17 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: This game is rather a mess and has been since the beginning (through no small fault of my own - a wishywashy England is no way to play, I've discovered). I would be ok with a draw before anyone gets knocked out and maybe we can just start another one with the same players.
17 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: And this isn't desperation. It maybe would have been before last turn, but not anymore ;-).
17 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: I'll support a draw vote
17 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: I agree.
17 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: I'd support a draw vote and then start up a new game
17 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: It's really on Austria - if he wants the win he can probably grind it out and take it
17 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: I'll respect whatever austria wants- he's played the game well (and hasn't ignored a turn like myself)
17 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Considering we're at 10-7-7-5, I guess I don't really see why anyone would want to draw. This has been a pretty dynamic game and I think it's got lots of life left in it. If everyone's tired of it, though, I guess I'll agree before everyone else allies to chop me up and draw without me.
18 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: What say you? Are you not entertained?
18 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: There's no harm in playing it out. But I would like to get another game going and if people don't want to run two at once, then I say we draw this one. If we can start another one from scratch while this one goes through its concluding stages (I confess, a part of me does quite want to make perpetual war against the Axis powers), then that's cool too.
19 Sep 13 UTC Everyone has voted Draw cept for Austria. I propose that everyone unites to destroy him so the vote can go ahead without him :)
19 Sep 13 UTC And I propose we eliminate some of these deadbeats before drawing, so we make some Diplom credits. ;)
19 Sep 13 UTC Out of deference for the current European/Middle Eastern Crisis, I propose both Turkey and Russia be allowed to live.
19 Sep 13 UTC If no one wants to keep going, then I guess there's no point. See you in the next one.
