27 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Hey you, you rest of europe. Let's fight like we always have until it culminates into a world spanning war, the human cost of which, finally teaches us to stop fighting all the time. THEN, lets act like black people can't run a country because Africa is covered in wars and ethnic clensing all the time.
27 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Jolly good
27 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Can't we all be peaceful and make love instead? Oh wait, wrong game...
27 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1901: I can't wait until the turn when I can say "Only now, in this late hour, do I realise the folly of war."
27 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Wait, how'd we all get armor divisions in 1901?
27 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Bowser built them of wood.
27 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Yeah, I liked the level with the airships supporting the log tanks.

In fact, I ran a SMB3 themed 'macy game a few years ago with Princess Toadstool letters for turn reports.

28 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Please submit at least an unfinalized move-set just in case you don't make it to the phase. It can really wreck a game if people start holding their junk.
28 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Why won't France just finalize?
28 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1901: I CAN NOT WAIT 29 MORE MINUTES

AAAAAAAAAAAAAH
28 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Meh. With 24 hour games it's nice having each phase end at a set time each day. It doesn't bother me.
02 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: Well, I'm glad that England decided to just stop playing so that France could get all his centres for free. Yay, 'lomacy!
02 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: I'll save a spot for you in England if you like. :)
19 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1907: So quiet in here. Even mortal enemies converse once in a blue moon. So, how's everyone doing?
20 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1907: Well, what do you want to talk about, sport?
20 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1907: How about them Yankees?
20 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: I'm a Red Sox fan!

GET OUT OF HERE, YOU'RE DEAD ANYWAY
20 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: Wow, the Yankees are back, but what happened to the Mets though?

Oh Austria, I'm still saving a spot, two actually, for you in England. When are you coming to take it? ^^
20 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: And to Turkey, Why are you so mad? Try to understand, that I do want you as a fan. *With apology to eminem* ^^
20 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: Keep your shirt on, Turkey. I'm a Mets fan at heart, but I've had that plucked out this year. And anyway, I'm not allowed to have an interest in the game just because I'm dead? I was interested in the beginning, and I'll still be interested at the end!
21 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: You're allowed to have interest in the game as long as you stop bringing up the Yankees. pack of cheaters, that's what they are.
21 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: Also I've heard they eat dog dos.
21 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: TOgilvie, maybe you can do some live commentary on the game. I've enjoyed your insights very much so far. :)
22 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1908: Can I do it in the style of a horse-racing commentator, a thousand words a minute? Seriously though, I don't want to influence the result. Or do I?
23 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1908: I like the idea of a dead player giving live commentary. It gives almost a supernatural feel to it, like some spiritual force still manipulating things behind the scene. So, feel free to influence away. :)
24 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1908: Nah, it's more like the rebellious Russian loyalists reporting the deposed Czar's propaganda.
24 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1908: hehe. I like that one. And it appears that they're still holding out in Finland and Armenia.
24 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1908: Just refugee camps. Not worth the trouble to eliminate them.
26 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: I was more-or-less counting on my ally not to suddenly disappear. Now I am sunk.
27 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1909: France and Germany: I can't compete on the continent! You know that perfectly well. I concentrated entirely on taking the Mediterranean while Austria defended me on the continent; now Austria is gone and I am in no position to claim his centers.

I voted for a draw without expecting either of you to agree. Just hoping for mercy. I'll continue to play as well as I can, for sure.
27 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1909: Turkey, you never put your fate in someone else's hand when you can put it in your own hands. Instead of counting on Austria to protect you on land, you should have took Rumania and Serbia, built two more armies, and defended yourself instead. Austria would have to disband two additional units putting himself into no position to bite back.

You put yourself into this position.
28 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1909: aw, screw it
