28 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1902: It looks like the Russian bear has woken up from hibernation
28 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1902: Well yes, I took it over from someone who didn't seem to be playing-- otherwise it makes for a rather dull game from everyone else. I'm afraid I had to screw up Germany's orders first, before he overran me.
29 Jul 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: hey =) it's part of the game. Although i was expecting a notification of some sort to say someone new had joined in (as in the old system in the Global notice board)
30 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1903: Ok, pull on out of Warsaw and flatten Livonia.
My thanks; you'll have a secure rear if you decide to hit france or England, and obviously you're welcome to scandanavia (by my agreement) in return. In light of the second Turkish fleet at Ankara, he can, in fact, take Sevastopol without me bringing a second army to bear (three units)-- his moves would be Smy-Arm, and Ankara-black sea (supported by Rumania). Thus I'll need army Ukraine to stop him, if he gives me the chance, which the builds will let me do.
31 Jul 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: I'm melting I'm melting....
01 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: sorry.
the option was to much of a temptation.
05 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: that poor russian tank....
06 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: I shall never surrender! Viva Russia! Nothing like surviving due to two equal attacks bouncing off of each other from opposite directions. Looks like the Turks and Germans are equally greedy. Laugh. Of course, the germans will win in the end (i.e. take moscow), since the obvious move is Liv-St. Pete, StP-Norway, Liv-St. Pete, and Prussia-Liv.
06 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: *grin,
you read my mind yet again.
12 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1907: Thanks for the game Rhydon. (and for taking on a country in cd.)
12 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1907: Oh, no problem! I'm leaving on a trip in 7 hours, so I can't get orders in after this one-- not sure if the game will figure out that I'm "out" or not. I watch the developments.

And I was glad to play russia-- I play for fun, and it's a better game with more people.
12 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1907: I hate playing a game with cd's,
have fun on your trip.
13 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: draw anybody?
13 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: lol, im up for it :P
13 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1908: sorry italy i ll only do a 3 way draw
however germany and turkey, I ll vote draw if you do
16 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1909: ok then. draw?
19 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1910: Oh look, Germany has taken moscow, taken Sevastapol, taken budapest, and is driving south on Turkey's homeland. Gosh, too bad the turks wouldn't support the poor, helpless russians in Moscow as a buffer state against the German blitzkrieg.
19 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1910: we of the German nation, respect free discourse originating from the Russian people.
19 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1910: The Russian Parisans hereby vote that there should be no draw! No, a thousand times no! Not while a single scrap of Ottoman vermin remains on the map! SEE france crush Turkey! SEE Germany crush turkey!

Laugh.
19 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1910: Hey, France could support a navy into the Ionian Sea, then start convoying armies from Marseilles and France all the way to Syria and Greece. 8)
19 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1910: there's an idea!

France: are you amiable to this?
19 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1910: SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! shut up!
19 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1910: you gonna give it all away!
19 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1910: ;-)
19 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1910: You can blame Germany. Obviously it's much better if the Germans lose and the French win, so anything I can do to make Germany suffer is a plus (although we conquered peoples appreciate the German policy of free discourse, except for Lenin, who alas, was apparently executed a few days ago for writing anti-German propaganda... no real loss)
19 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1910: As stated earlier, the German nation is respectful (and mindful) of allowing the Russian people a voice. However a line needs to be drawn between free discourse and treasonous dialectic. Lenin was indeed executed, and so will any folk who continue to spread the writings of Marx.
24 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1912: We Russian peasants can still take great glee in watching the Ottoman Empire get its just desserts. (mutters under breath) "Wouldn't support me in Moscow..."
26 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1913: well, looks like the game is wrapping up.

Thanks everyone.
26 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1913: You too. May you have a long and painful death, Germany. Ah, if only I'd stepped in before things were already spinning out of control. 8)
26 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1913: :-)
26 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1913: hope to play with you again.
;-P
26 Aug 09 UTC Spring, 1913: 3-way draw anybody??

no?

:'(
26 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1913: Ok, that's funny.
And I vote "No" we need to see to it that every last scrap of Turkish land is wiped off the map. Would someone mind taking Syria?
26 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1913: good game best alliance i have ever had
26 Aug 09 UTC Autumn, 1913: My thanks for killing off the Turks.
