29 May 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Hey guys, nice to see we could get a full game at last minute!
May there be multiple double crosses and stabbings of backs!
29 May 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Greetings all from the Austrian empire!
I look forward to our dealings and wish all an enjoyable game!

I would also like to introduce my good friend David (thewildyak), who has stepped in close to the deadline to get this sucker rolling. its his first game, but im sure he wont be a pushover.
29 May 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Good Morrow Neighbors , Queen Victoria is died! TheWildYak is now the King in the North. Be seeing ye all in battle!
29 May 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Ahh, how nice to see you all again. Perhaps. I anticipate a complete devolvement of any small social life I've managed to rebuild since last game. David good to have you along, thanks for joining us.
29 May 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Hey guys ash here.

First time playing turkey!!! Key is to attack Spain right!!!???
29 May 13 UTC Spring, 1901: 18 months later. Here ww go again. Good hunting gentlemen.
30 May 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Hello all - I predict your demise by the long, cold winter of 1904.
31 May 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: That time Russia forgot to move his fleet from the Gulf of Bothnia even when he had an uncontested territory availalable to move into.
31 May 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: yeah, I was wondering about that.....
01 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: Forget indeed... you guys just don't understand the finer points of the game.....
01 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: I think its was meant to be a ferry to sweden, if you click the map expand button it shows some kind of St.petersburg combined action with the fleet.
02 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1902: Ross, were playing diplomacy, not monopoly. head in the game mate!
02 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1902: hahaha I've been traveling and haven't had time to be diplomatic! Let this be a lesson to you all... apart from, of course, not being able to trust anyone in this group!
02 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1902: Prediction: Germany will win.

Six territories by year's end. Russian problems are east, Austria is engaging Turkey, France (incorrectly) believes Italy can be had and England unable to find a toe hold in Europe. It leaves Germany unbothered, and expanding until its too late for anyone to stop him.

04 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: Germany fail??? Maybe he read jesse's hundred msgs about his predicted win and assumed he didn't have to do anything!
04 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: Fark!! I thought I submitted my moves last night because I was going to be busy this arvo/evening. Mustn't have hit save, epic fail!
04 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: That Italy-France alliance is concerning!!! England, you are about to get pwned!
04 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: Germany drops the ball. France does an about turn. Russia, somehow, gets a reprieve. Turkey expands and consolidates, Italy repositions. Austria went for too much. 1902, what a year.
05 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: Poor Russia, yeah he got a break when he should have lost Warsaw, but had he been watching he could have nabbed two supply centres.
06 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1903: Hey, hey... You've got to spend money to make money......
07 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: It's almost like you guys want Russia to win this war...
07 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: I meant Germany - it's obvious you don't want Russia to win!
07 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: Austria you could have been bold and stood with me against Turkey. But, like a scared child seeking the comforting embrace of its mother, you gave up, and returned to your three home centres. You gave up the fight.
07 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: Weakest stab attempt ever! Oh no not Italy! You attack me with a wet lettuce leaf
10 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1904: That's ridiculous, I made more moves than that!
12 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: Oh, Berlin..... How you have welcomed me with open arms!!! It's a glorious day for mother Russia!
13 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: france cannot be stopped unless everyone turns their attention to them in the spring.
It is a fact. england has fallen, edinborough is guaranteed in 1905 making 10.
tunis is under threat for 11 and with half of germanys heartland exposed, it will be done by 1908.

but there is hope. if norway moves to finland and england is allowed passage home,
tunis is defended and germany and russia trade sweden for berlin,
a line can be drawn in germany.
14 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: I am happy to do my part in defending Tunisia once I have ridden the world of the myopic scourge that is Italy!!! Who caused this French juggernaut to rise!
15 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Austria you are having a laugh. You sit there with your three centres, doing nothing for the last 2 years. I have suggested an alliance against Turkey during all that time. You have done nothing. You just sit there. So for you to insist that others rally against one big player, while you allow another free reign is total hypocrisy.
15 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1905: im honoring a ceasefire with turkey, and have no interest in an alliance with you, which is why I said goodbye to you on the 5th.
I have no ability to stop france other than not attacking you.
but youre too stupid to even bounce tunis rather than a limp dicked attempt at walking into naples.
17 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Where is Turkey going to go, if not through Austria?
17 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Italy, with all his fleets.
18 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1905: Man- you're fighting this war like the French.
20 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: I was under the impression that a fleet could not traverse Norway-Sweden withough going through Skagerack. Woops.
20 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: I didn't move my fleet.....

So my small allies, how are we going to arrest this inevitable onslaught?

Or shall we roll over and give up? Surely coordinated action is needed if we're to have any hope?
21 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: What we do in life echoes in eternity!!!!
21 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: the time for that was 2 years ago when I said it, now its just a battle of turkey and france.
21 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: A unit can only support a territory where it can otherwise move, hence the Norway/Sweden comment.
21 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1907: See, my reading of that was that you'd sit there in the middle, doing nothing as usual, while you dictated the game to every other country, like a 2-supply centre puppet master, while you roll over and let the Turks pillage you at will....
22 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1907: Trent - I'm going to support your unit into Ukraine from Moscow.
22 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1907: Yeah that was never going to work....
23 Jun 13 UTC Voting for the draw Turkey? Yeah, good one.
23 Jun 13 UTC I wanted to save you the embarrassment of defeat ;)
23 Jun 13 UTC It'll be a miracle if you last one more year.
24 Jun 13 UTC GG
24 Jun 13 UTC Thanks all for playing. Russia, incredible job hanging in til the end given your start.
24 Jun 13 UTC I'm just glad to have got Moscow back. Well played, young Joe.
