03 May 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Hey folks :)
This'll be fun, seeing you all on webDip. Mapu, I think all of our webDip games have been gunboat, yes?

Good luck to all!
03 May 13 UTC Spring, 1901: ill post messages to everyone later on today. I'm moving out from school and don't have a lot of time. Talk to you all soon!
03 May 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Thanks everyone for joining.. So the quick disclosures are that I know Trubbis IRL, and Trubbis knows Nemokrad (so much harder to type than darkomeN) IRL.

Good luck to everyone!
03 May 13 UTC Spring, 1901: This is one of the best parts of the game. Unlimited possibilities, everyone is a potential ally, and friendly press from all. Good luck and fare thee well.
09 May 13 UTC Spring, 1902: what the hell happened?

I never even toyed with putting in those orders... ugh.
18 May 13 UTC Spring, 1903: Jugg alert!
18 May 13 UTC Spring, 1903: Ha! Are you going to do this in two games in a row? Is it a Jugg, or did I just move to counter your attack that you telegraphed?
18 May 13 UTC Spring, 1903: I'm baffled how I continue to screw myself this game..

North Sea convoy 'Picardy' to York? Can someone explain the logic in that?

Damnit! I hate you scroll wheel!! (No, wait! Come back! I didn't mean it!)
19 May 13 UTC Spring, 1903: Russia -- have we played in a game together before?

England -- I've noticed it's been selecting the wrong destination in the dropdown lately too. Like I know I click the correct one but then the wrong one is in there. It's harder when you can't preview the moves like on vdip.
19 May 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: This is fun.
19 May 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: yeah, I am very much missing the preview function.. :(
19 May 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: How great has that been? I didn't even use it for the first couple of weeks after Oli installed it, but once I tried it it became instantly indispensable. I really wish it would get added here. I've talked with a couple of mods about it, who seemed to think it looked good, and when I donated here and Kestas asked what feature I'd like to see, that's the one I mentioned. Nothing yet....
20 May 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: The problem with moving features over is that the WebDip code has to be professional, whereas the Vdip code doesn't... The preview button (and many other features) are essentially hacks of the existing code, and although they work well they have their problems (try supporting to/from a province with multiple coasts for the preview button example) and these are sometimes not fixable unless the feature is completely recoded, which would take Kestas a lot of time.

That said, I think the preview would be worth the time taken to code it. It's a brilliant feature :)
20 May 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: Makes sense.
21 May 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: It looks like we may have an Italian NMR on it's way..

:(
21 May 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: Is he one of your buddies, England?
21 May 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: He's Turkey's friend, or is he still after Turkey's unwanted assaults? :)

anyways, Trubbis is who I know IRL, and Trubbis knows Nemokrad IRL.
21 May 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: He also missed a turn in another game I'm playing with him. I'm trying to get in contact with him; I'm guessing he's just been busy.
27 May 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: Hi,
I've just found out I'm away from Tuesday to Saturday - could we pause this game for that time?
I can't really get a sitter because, on WebDiplomacy, there's no country-switch feature so I'd have to give them access to my account - which I'm not allowed to do because I have Mod stuff enabled on it, so it would be a bit risky.

It's really annoying that they have so many less features here than on VDip :(

Anyhow, a pause would be much appreciated!
27 May 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: No worries here.
27 May 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: And thus i exit. Good game all!
27 May 13 UTC Spring, 1905: gg Spartan!
28 May 13 UTC Spring, 1905: England, Italy;

I would really appreciate a pause. I'm leaving this afternoon and I would prefer not to NMR and CD if possible.
28 May 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Oh, and GG Spartan :)
28 May 13 UTC Spring, 1905: gg Spartan, thanks for joining!
28 May 13 UTC Spring, 1905: GG Spartan. I've been trying to contact Nemokrad for a few different purposes with no luck, so I'm guessing he traveled over the holiday weekend. But I finally resorted to an email and I have little doubt he'll vote pause by tomorrow.
29 May 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Finding Nemo.....Any chance he has me accidentally blocked?
29 May 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Didn't you use your "he has me blocked" ruse in another game too? It's getting old, friend.
29 May 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Maybe I'm dense, but I don't see how this 'ruse' would really win me anything. In the other game to which you refer, there truly was an accidental block - though I suppose you're trying to block that game out ;) Here, it's more a rhetorical question, as I think it highly likely that Dark Omen is just not on very often, and not spending a lot of time on diplomacy.
29 May 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Here is the mute button play. It's smart.
1) In Global, yyy posts "Oh wow, I can't believe I was muted by xxx!"
2) Neighbors mentally take note that xxx must hate yyy and move accordingly
3) xxx and yyy work together to dirty stab unsuspecting neighbors
4) Profit
29 May 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Oh wow, I can't believe I was muted by xxx! To the surprise of my unsuspecting neighbors, I will now enter the porn industry for some dirty stabbing :)
01 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1905: I'm back :)
I'll hit unpause now, but please don't worry if I don't start talking until later - I still need to unpack and get everything sorted.
01 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1905: I'll be off the grid till tomorrow morning myself, got a full day and a late night.
03 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1905: And so begins part 2.

Good luck, all!
04 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Quoting England:

"Autumn, 1903: It looks like we may have an Italian NMR on it's way.. "
04 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Italy moved! Italy moved! Haha, sorry Paul, I have to join in.
23 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: That moment when you realise you just covered both your fleet-building HSCs in an attempt to signal non-aggression to Germany... Dammit.
09 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 1910: Trying to get an American Empire game off the ground. Please join if you are interested. I'm inviting several players that I've found to be reliable, and asking each that I invite to invite others that they know to be reliable. Hopefully we can get a good game going without the CDs.

09 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 1910: Well, this is stalemated now methinks. The only 2 possible outcomes are a four or five way draw, and the only decision left to make is Russia making the decision on which outcome he wants.

My draw vote is going up now. I await Russia's choice with interest :)
09 Jul 13 UTC The most I'll say Globally is that there has been recent talk about paring down the draw. If each of F/E/G are satisfied with a 5-way, then say so and I'll vote. If not, then let me know what you are wanting and we'll see about making it happen. I will not eliminate Turkey, he will be included. It's been a fun game, if a little perplexing at a couple of points!
10 Jul 13 UTC Turkey NMR'ed -- does he deserve it?
10 Jul 13 UTC I think he just held. Regardless, despite my stab of him he offered and arrangement that I agreed to and I'll hold my end of it.
10 Jul 13 UTC He did not submit a move as he was missing moves before the turn went through and hasn't been seen in 18 hours so he never came back. Regardless -- if you want to play Candyland or Chutes and Ladders here and let the noob off the hook then I guess we have no choice.
10 Jul 13 UTC I didn't realize I hadn't saved. Sorry about that. I did only intend to hold however, so no biggie.

I have no expectation of Russia keeping me alive, but I would love him long time if he did. =D
11 Jul 13 UTC I am happy with whatever you decide, Tsar Recommended. I have no way of impacting your decision now, as I can no longer reach Naples.
11 Jul 13 UTC My vote is up.
12 Jul 13 UTC Seems we're looking at a draw..

Good game everyone!
12 Jul 13 UTC GG!
12 Jul 13 UTC GG everyone, and thanks for the game of Candyland! ;)
