Game won by Invictus (240 D)
28 Apr 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Hi all. Not sure why I joined a game called 'Don't Join', but here I am! Good luck everyone.
28 Apr 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Austrias NEVER knows why they do anything! :P
28 Apr 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Well I was the first to join and I don't know why I did, maybe it had something to do with the game being made by diplomat, or it could be because it was an open game with a small pot.
28 Apr 09 UTC Spring, 1901: I don't know why I named it "Don't Join". I think it was impulsive...
28 Apr 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Also, can everyone finalize asap? I like slow games because the game can run at its own pace.
28 Apr 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Everyone can finalize quickly in the later phases, but especially in the 1901-1903 time frame there's a lot of diplomacy that needs to go on!
28 Apr 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Turkey again? Dammit.
28 Apr 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Turkey tends to deliver strong showings on this site. I wouldn't curse too loudly.
28 Apr 09 UTC Spring, 1901: I know from Turkey. I find it the least interesting country to play as, regardless of the results.
28 Apr 09 UTC Spring, 1901: I joined this game because it was the only one I could afford
29 Apr 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Hey Turkey, wanna trade?
29 Apr 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: Germany... why the support to Kiel? I mean, not that I mind getting into Burgundy or anything. It's just weird.
29 Apr 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: Well, Munich had nothing better to do, and I might as well have them do something.
29 Apr 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: Munich could have moved to Burgundy or Ruhr (threatening Belgium) or to Tyrolia (intended to bounce Italy and protect Austria, although this time it would have bounced Austria to protect Italy!) or to Burgundy (bouncing me so long as I didn't issue a support order) or to Silesia (bouncing Russia or threatening Warsaw, depending upon his orders).

There was no need for that support...
29 Apr 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: I wanted to protect my flank from a possible French or Austrian attack.

Oh, well. What's done is done.
29 Apr 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: The better way to protect the flank is by bouncing, not holding. ESPECIALLY not holding in 1901!
30 Apr 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: No, holding in Munich is usually what happens during an Anschluss. Supporting the move for fun is strange but it's really no different.

Now, not moving Munich or Berlin and having them support hold each other, that's a bad move. But who would do that?
01 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: I can't make sense of Italy's orders. Can anybody else?
01 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: I know backstabbing is the whole point of Diplomacy, but you backstabbing little pricks!
01 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: That's why you should always move fleet Kiel to Denmark. Always.
01 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: And retreat to Ruhr...
01 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: or to Kiel, but for the love of God not Bohemia!
01 May 09 UTC Spring, 1902: I thought I could sneak attack Vienna. I didn't think he would build.
01 May 09 UTC Spring, 1902: He got two centers.

I've done worse, though.
01 May 09 UTC Spring, 1902: That's a lot of consolation, Invictus.
02 May 09 UTC Spring, 1902: I hope that isn't sarcastic. I've been something of your champion for awhile now.
02 May 09 UTC Spring, 1902: That was somewhat sarcastic. As for you being my champion, I appreciate that a lot.

05 Jun 09 UTC Autumn, 1910: It's weird that the game pauses even if the player was banned.
