blankflag, if you are tired of being owned by your parents, then either seek emancipation or simply run away. Running away is a long and noble profession, and it's cheaper than emancipation. It also doesn't require you to have reading comprehension, which is a prerequisite for the paperwork necessary for emancipation.

While you must respect your children's rights, you also must take up your responsibility. Those two are totally different aspects and both are equally important. In the movies, "Karate kid" there was a quote: "There are no such thing as bad students, only bad teacher. Teacher says, students do."

yes but i am suggesting maybe the parents arent the main teachers. it probably should be officials deciding if kids have vaccines or what they wear to school or how late they stay out. i just think its a little absurd for parents to make decisions affecting their childrens lives as if they own them. people are stupid, and the people making children are even more stupid than the average. its best to start moving some of this decision making authority to a wise professional class as orwell suggested.
