Sorry Bob. All my games have been draws, cancels today because some 100 point punk drops then comes back then drops. Since France wouldn't cancel before 03 I decided to make sure we got rid of as many drops as possible. I wouldn't have taken the solo with 2 of my neighbors CDing. Now, if it were Italy and Turkey who CDd and I managed to get an advantage then ya, I would have worked for teh solo.

So, Czech, why'd you cancel the cancel right before it would have cancelled the game (in '02, I believe)?

Eh, I'm just pissed because I think Turkey is the country I play best, and I had to waste in on arguably the shittiest game ever.

It was 03 and France would have CDd but Germany had just missed teh turn so I thought we could get rid of 3 NMRrs Austria/France and Germany. Alsa, FG kept popping back in.

I retreated back into my territory to try and free up Italy and France to try and deal with England's apparent attempted solo. Remember, I thought it was Split Diplomat playing England, so I wasn't expecting any honor or shame out of England whatsoever.

Hey, you got points back. That is worth something. Czech isn't a guy that's going to solo unfairly. I get that, but you've got to respect, no matter when, that he got rid of CDers and got all of you a few more points. It's not like he could message you and tell you, so don't knock him for it.

I couldn't decide whether or not to take Marseilles because France kept popping in and out. So confusing...also Austria reappeared out of nowhere so I supported Russia into Vienna.

Fair play for drawing once the CDs were gone. I thought you were taking full advantage which wouldn't have been sporting. What on earth was going on with Austria, Germany and France deciding to miss phases then come back multiple times. I also don't know what Turkey was playing at going for the stab, I was the only resistance to England and if you'd have stabbed me that would have guaranteed an English solo. Extremely shorrt sighted on your part.

Since all of the mean, evil things we wantto do to CDers (see forum thread) are illegal or impossible All I have is killingthem in the game or waiting until they all magically CD. In this case killing them off was what was needed since all 3 kept coming back. And I agree with Bob. SD really pisses me off when he gets a cheap solo. Like I said IF Italy/Turkey had been the CDers and I was in the position I was in I would have gone for the solo since I didn't benefit from IT being CDd.

I was going to destroy your fleet in Sev in spring, then move on to Ukr in autumn. That way, you'd get an extra build, and I'd put another army closer to the stalemate line to be used as backfill.

Well, I figured you would have had enough respect for my gameplay to that point, by how I backed off of Italy and signalled that I was willing to get my armies involved against England with the bogus convoy to Tunisia to figure that i wouldn't stab you for one SC when the likely result is an England solo.

I'd doubt it - just because of the double fleet build with 6 already in the water. Split would be thinking solo and that's not an optimal build imo.
