Numeri Romani sunt systema numerorum a numeris Tuscis pertractatum et in imperio Romano diu usi. Numeri Romani in litteris I, V, X, L, C, D, M consistunt. Numeri Romani hodie quoque paulum usurpantur; mos enim eorum notandorum non multum post medium aevum mutatus est. – VICIPÆDIA
I am going to be responsible for clearing out old paused discontinued games. It will take me a while, so if you have a game in mind, let me know and I will make it a priority. Hopefully this will clear up the "join games" option so more people would be willing to take on games with CDs.
Check out yesterday's and today's Bible readings from Chapters 1 and 2 of the Book of Acts, the story of the early church. There's something in Chapter 2 about devout Jews from many countries, and there's even something in there for socialists. :-)
S*** Decision--Bradley Upsets Pac-Man Pacquiao in Spilt Decision Win
http://content.usatoday.com/communities/gameon/post/2012/06/manny-pacquiao-timothy-bradley-title-fight/1#.T9QvSdVfEg0 NO WAY...just no way...saw this fight after the Devils/Kings game at Buffalo Wild wings--woo, another Kings loss, keep it going in Game 6, Marty!--and NO WAY...EVERYONE had this one scored for Pacquiao, clearly the winner, I don't know HOW 2/3 judges scored it for Bradley--thoughts?
What is the difference between my web-profile and a Facebook-profile? Is it possible to link the two? I have an app for my iPhone which is linked to my Facebook profile - is it possible to link it to my web-profile also?
I've done this poll on another site and got some interesting results. I'll bump this one from time to time, just "like" the post that most resembles your demographics. It's in response to a statement about the forum community's demographics and I'm curious.
France fully used the fact that England (JMeister790) was inexperienced. Moreover, England cowardly left the game in 1903. Germany (TeRRoRShAdY) might have done better, I guess, instead of letting France take the whole of the British Isles unopposed.
Russia (cspieker) went headlong into the adventure of conquering Turkey (me). With the initial help of Austria (dopeybirdofprey), he might have succeeded, if he hadn't decided to stab Austria too soon. I didn't have much to do, except for watching Russia get smaller while Austria and Italy (MichiganMan) slugged it out.
As France became the main threat, Italy turned back soon enough, but didn't have enough forces to stop him. In the east, there were some misunderstandings regarding defense deployment, but even without them, Italian centers would have been more than enough for France to win.
Thanks Turkey (Zmaj),I apreciate it. Thank you all for letting me win,I was just lucky to have Germany only who was willing to fight me,couldn't have done anything else but to collect all what has been given to me by all of you.
As Zmaj said, I stabbed Austria too soon, or rather I probably shouldn't have stabbed him at all. I forgot that he had one excess center so he ended up not having to destroy anything. Plus I was anticipating that Italy would gut him. Unfortunately Italy did not appear to be the most skilled player (actually was apparent earlier on, I forgot to take that into account), and my stab totally did me in. There was something in the back of my mind telling me, "no no", but I didn't figure it out in the quick 5-minute play.
Well done Austria, you really knocked me out there (and Italy). Zmaj, I almost got you!! It would have helped if Austria would have attacked you earlier too. Oh well.
I was surprised that I survived up until that point, although it helped that Germany dislodged Italy from Bohemia. I let Italy move into Greece so that I could move to the Ionian and a hilarious game of hot potato ensued.
