Introducing a friend to the game, I have set up a low ( 10 ) entry game for him to get started in, 19 hrs till it starts, three places to fill, looking for newbie tolerant veterans, who feel like participating in a training exercise, kinda like a dummy hand of cards, except end result sticks...
I'm in a World Diplo game, and we are almost done. A 4 way draw in this very, very long game! I'm wondering if anyone knows the World's Record for longest convoy. We are trying one that will use 25 fleets! If that's the record, please let me know, ASAP, as I can ask us to change it to use 26 fleets.
Anyone worked for them? I was offered a job as a field manager, making about 400-500 a week for the summer. I've read plenty of bellyaching online. Some of it was legitimate, but has since largely been resolved by a class action lawsuit. The rest was basically complaining that it was a lot of work, at only a little bit above minimum, and repeated failure to meet your fundraising quota resulted in firing, no if's and's or but's about it.
I have an account on MLB.com but cannot watch the Jays game because it's blacked out in my area. Does anyone know a quick and safe way to get around the restrictions? Feel free to PM me so multis don't get any ideas.
Yep, that's why I try to restrict myself to three a day and drink either ice tea (unsweatened, usually fresh brewed "chai" or herbal and fruit like a mandarinorange spice, but sometimes orange pekoe) or water the rest of the day. don't need all those artificials sweetener causing water gain. Oh, Mafia, they don't actually make you fat so much as make you gain weight through water retention. Diet pop doesn't put fat on you as it has no calories there fore no fat or carb content, but it does have a side effect of reducing the body's ability to naturally release water causing it to bloat up.
@KA - I went in the Marines at 5' 10.5" and 129 lbs. I'm stil 5'10 and a hlaf, but weigh 260. Never say never when it comes to weight gain. Drinking sugar laden pop like that (unless you are drinkgin the diet version, which I doubt) *will* alter your metabolism in time and you may well become a diabetic if you keep up those sugar habits. I became one when I was trying to *lose* weight by eating and rinking mostly citrus fruits and salads with low-fat dressings (mostly olive oil and vinegar, but some red ones like low-fat french and russian). Sugar is as bad as fat.
Don't worry about me, Draug, my mom is one of those health fanatics. I've inadvertently picked up enough good eating habits to keep me somewhat in shape. I am 5' 9" and quite thin, so I should be fine for a while...
See you think that, but I'm 6'4" and 180 lbs, which is at the low end of normal for that height, but I'm still well out of shape. The question is, how long can you run for before you run out of breath King Atom? How many flights of stairs can you go up before you start to wish you'd taken the elevator? And even if the answer to those questions is quite good, you still need to watch sugar intake. Refined sugar wreaks havoc with your metabolism.
