I don't know what it is, but there doesn't have to be a reason anyways... I could go off on a Billy Joel rant from this point, and that might cheer me up...but I just don't know. Does anyone have some level of understanding of something pertaining to something like something that resembles pre-vacation blues or something?
Remember the Scott Expedition, of which three members died 100 years ago today
"Every day we have been ready to start for our depot 11 miles away, but outside the door of the tent it remains a scene of whirling drift. I do not think we can hope for any better things now. We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker, of course, and the end cannot be far. It seems a pity but I do not think I can write more. R. Scott. For God's sake look after our people."
Does anyone know anything special about Amerigo Vespucci?
I don't want any of you complaining about my lack of knowledge or to inundate me with theories about who really discovered the New World, I just need to know a few things about the voyage in which he discovered America...let's just say that it's for my Symphony.
Brace yourselves, WebDippers, we have an opportunity to say something that actually matters for a change! (Brits only, sadly). Instead of making the same old arguments to the same old people, why not say something to the government as they consider new legislation?
"Treat all economic questions from the viewpoint of the consumer, for the interests of the consumer are the interests of the human race." Frédéric Bastiat- 1850 (He is even European, where did Europe lose its way-Bismarck)
"where did Europe lose its way-Bismarck" You mean when did we give up the "Bismarck-Europe" where we'd all try to build an army that was larger than the other guy's army until "war had become inevitable", to become one of the most prosperous continents in the history of mankind?
Guys, I got tired of having to hide the screen from my kids when I was reading the Forum posts because of the widespread use of the F-word and other profanity. So--it's not personal if I muted you, or your thread.
