Dumb Question - How do you win?
According to the rules you will as soon as you have control of 18 bases. When do you have control? When you occupy 18 bases or at the end of a complete year?

Make a wellness copay be less than an ERE copay and maybe they will stop abusing the ER. Of course do away with free and make *everyone* pay to.play so they can't abuse it with free visits.

Oh....so...Draugnar...you DO agree with me. In other words, you DO graps free market capitalist principles of supply and demand. and therefore have to agree that helath care as we know it is totally fucked becuase moronic people with no financial interest cost the system an incomprehensible amount of cash in order to get their $80 aspirin when baby's gots the heats and sweets...sweats...whatevers...

@Defiant, if I had to label myself, I would say I am a conservative-realist on economic and fiscal issues (conservative=anti-welfare, realist=subscribe to keynsian economics) On social issues I am a libertarian sometime liberal
Draugnar (0 DX)
30 Mar 12 UTC
Yes i agree. i said the same thing before about making insurance into a competitive market. i think it should be like buying a car and states and the feds should keep their noses out of it.
DEFIANT3 (100 D)
30 Mar 12 UTC
Well Puddle, you had my support until the Keynsian economics, now maybe you and I can disuss that, you know it has never worked, right?
Puddle (433 D)
30 Mar 12 UTC
@defiant, I'm NOT going to discuss that. The main piece of evidence in my book is the Great depression --->New Deal ------>prosperity chain of events. However it appears to be impossible to causally link the the new deal to prosperity. So all I'll say is the theory is sound-ish, and there is strong correlative evidence in its support.

If I may ask though, what do you ascribe to? Austrian?
I don't understand what the problem is with not being able to link the new deal with recovery. The other argument is that the War is what brought prosperity back. What was the war besides an even more concentrated exercise of state job creation and government stimulus and aid in technological development. Not saying that is the way we should go because the sacrifices are far too great for a democratic society, but jusut because the new deal wasn't the shot in the arm doesn't mean state intervention is completely ineffective.
Puddle (433 D)
30 Mar 12 UTC
The war=stimulus argument has it's own problems, and really is only effective with a highly manufacture and industry based economy, that has functional capital that is under utilized. Really the effect the war had on the U.S. economy is very unlikely to ever happen again, it depends on a ton of other circumstances which I did not list
DEFIANT3 (100 D)
30 Mar 12 UTC
@Puddle, Capitalism, isn't is obvious.
Puddle (433 D)
30 Mar 12 UTC
Right, but specifically, I mean Keynesian economics is still capitalist in nature
DEFIANT3 (100 D)
30 Mar 12 UTC
@Puddle,
Then more Laissez-faire, just don't want gov't a major role and keynesian believes as barry's does that they can run buisness's better than private, GM and that isn't working ie volt which sucks, they produce something they(gov't) want's but the people do not and besides that, the volt is a huge shitty vehicle, dumb idea to boot.

Krellin why do you hate so much? I mean I understand disagreeing, and even disagreeing vehemently, but do you really believe that there is only one right answer to every issue and that you just so happen to know exactly what it is?

I don't know what it is, but there doesn't have to be a reason anyways...
I could go off on a Billy Joel rant from this point, and that might cheer me up...but I just don't know. Does anyone have some level of understanding of something pertaining to something like something that resembles pre-vacation blues or something?

Remember the Scott Expedition, of which three members died 100 years ago today
"Every day we have been ready to start for our depot 11 miles away, but outside the door of the tent it remains a scene of whirling drift. I do not think we can hope for any better things now. We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker, of course, and the end cannot be far. It seems a pity but I do not think I can write more. R. Scott. For God's sake look after our people."

Does anyone know anything special about Amerigo Vespucci?
I don't want any of you complaining about my lack of knowledge or to inundate me with theories about who really discovered the New World, I just need to know a few things about the voyage in which he discovered America...let's just say that it's for my Symphony.

Real Politics: Equal civil marriage consultation
Brace yourselves, WebDippers, we have an opportunity to say something that actually matters for a change! (Brits only, sadly). Instead of making the same old arguments to the same old people, why not say something to the government as they consider new legislation?
