Raiders @ Chargers - If this was before Carson Palmer came to the Raiders, I'd say the Raiders would win this easily. But now, I have to say the CHARGERS will win this high turnover thriller.
Cardinals @ Eagles - While the Eagles have been sliding, the Cardinals will be easy prey. EAGLES.
Jaguars @ Colts - oh boy, which team is worse? I'm so, so tempted to say the Colts will end their losing streak, but....they're just really bad. Still, I'll go for it. COLTS for their first win.
Broncos @ Chiefs - can Tebow keep his streak going? I don't think so. CHIEFS will come back with a vengeance after their disappointing show in Miami
Steelers @ Bengals - this is tough. A lot tougher than people think it would be. Upset of the week here, but I'm going to call the BENGALS to win and keep their top seed.
Bills @ Cowboys - Bills are sliding down. Though Tony Romo will give them lots of turnovers, their offense isn't clicking like it used to (and not giving me fantasy points too). COWBOYS
Saints @ Falcons - wow, another really tough one. I think the SAINTS will go marching on to the win.
Rams @ Browns - ugh, another close one. Colt McCoy and the BROWNS can handle this
Redskins @ Dolphins - DOLPHINS will increase their streak to two.
Titans @ Panthers - Cam Newton all day baby! PANTHERS win with style.
Texans @ Buccaneers - While the Bucs will make a game of it, TEXANS will come away with the win
Ravens @ Seahawks - if Baltimore loses this, I will be horribly shocked. RAVENS
Lions @ Bears - a classic game, as well as a close one. The Bears have a dynamic offense and a pretty good defense, while the Lions are getting to be a bit more stretched in that area. Still, I think the LIONS will stay in chase of the Packers
Giants @ 49ers - ugh, this is a situation like last week. The Giants should lose this game on paper, but I think they'll find a way to win. GIANTS.
Patriots @ Jets - ugh again. What is up with this week's matchups? I'm tempted to say the Jets will beat the sliding Pats, but, man I hate Jets fans (friends with too many of them) so I'll say the PATRIOTS stop their slide.
Vikings @ Packers - what used to be a good matchup will now be a blowout. PACKERS

I don't really care, since nothing is at stake except glory -- and what is more glorious than graciously letting your opponent pick up the sword he dropped and then killing him anyway? In similar leagues, I've played where you can post picks anytime before gametime, including Sunday afternoon and night games and MNF game later than the others. That gives greater flexibility in terms of late scratches. It also makes it more difficult for the person trying to figure out to calculate the results to piece together all the fragments of pick entries.

IIRC, there were no rules set for this group. I have no problem with saying all picks for the week have to be in before the first game. If we go that way, I would be okay with letting people who did not enter picks yet this week get a one-time exception to enter their picks before Sunday due to the ambiguity. Or I would have no problem saying you can enter your Thursday separately, then all the rest of your picks before the Sunday games. Or whatever. I'm easy, or so they say in on the walls of the ladies' restroom.
