To answer your question, the game was scheduled to start last Saturday at like 2 or 3 pm. I made a note of the start time and when i checked back Friday the game was already well underway. Now those of you who have been around forever apparently all know that the scheduled start time don't mean squat but I was pretty bent out of shape about the whole thing. I would have started with no builds vs everyone else's 3 and didn't feel like playing the whole game a year behind through no fault of my own.

I hve had where i "quit" before but thet was because my internet was having problems. i really dont like it when someone quits. it makes the game sooo much longer

yea why does it start early it throws every thing off! one of my games started early and then i missed 2 turns

Fight the odds, don't quit. Its much harder to succeed but its not impossible.

That is an expiration time, not a start time. It is only a start time on live games. So there was some confusion, obviously on both of yours parts. I can't blaim you for it as it does say Start and not Expires. But yeah, it is an expiration date for getting enough players to join and only acts as a hard and fast start date on live games.

Oh, and if you do lose, being under 100 total points, you will get a rtefill. But if you quit (called CD here), you lose the points and are penalized by *not* getting a refill.

You can request a cancellation if it's really bad. If the players are understanding you could be all right. But they don't have to, and it's best just to play on if they won't. There is no efficient or fair way to quit.

All right, fine I will finish it out, i can't imagine that i am going to survive very long at any rate. But I think it is fair that I don't need to put a lot of energy into negotiating my way out of a f$%ked up position. Does that sound fair to the gallery?

Play how yoou want to play...but you must play.

You can try to ask nicely for people to cancel.

The mods can kick you out of the game, but you'll still get a resign on your record (which is worse than a defeat).

You may wish to email the mods to request that how games start is made clearer.
