It's only metagaming if we do this for a bunch of games. We're just having a little "challenge" request if you will. And do you think they will either have the audacity to take up the challenge? 1. They'll lose. 2. They implicitly admit their guilt.

I appreciate that admission. I have played with mostly the same people, I'm new, fairly bad (by my estimation), and they are the people that introduced me.

Also Adiventure is a holdover from my first screen name. It stems from my nickname, Adi, and is nearly never taken.

I was being stupid with the spelling error. It's fine to be introduced to the game, but DON'T PLAY a anon gunboat game with other people. In fact, after a couple of games to learn the rules, don't play with each other anymore. It gives an unfair advantage to you and your friends, and you will never really learn how to play properly. Jump in and play with other people you don't know. Get your ass handed to you a few times, and you'll improve.
As Riphen indicated, playing with the same people with the idea that you'll be working together no matter what, is metagaming (cheating) and it is poorly looked upon here.
