Is ANYONE normal here???

All we read on these threads is some ancient philosophicla bullshti about this or that or the other thing. Fuck all that. You people constantly rehashing old arguments. None of us contributing new ideas with our asinine, pompous posts! FUCK THAT! Somebody tell me something NORMAL!

....that I must leave the site for a still undetermined amount of time. This last week I began working long hours at a new job so now I have almost no time to log in WebDiplomacy. That being said, I need to drop from the leagues and also need someone to sit my account for the time being. It is only one game, a TMG Masters game.

I weep and weep at having to leave.... : (

Yup, I'll be next. School starts late September and I will almost certainly have to cut down my chronic live game playing. Wow it'll be like quitting smoking or something. Sorry to see you leave, Steve. Hope it works out. Come back for a live game every now and then in the weekend.

my high school teacher showed me this website a few years ago. I am not even the same person anymore. The only two things that are still the same in my life are my mother and phpdiplomacy. or "WEB"diplomacy to all the whipper snappers.
I dont talk to any of the same people or do the same things or wear the same clothes or think the same things.

I couldnt get away from it if I tried.
And honestly I think it's all you folks, I'm not even always in a game.
and I dont even actually know if I like diplomacy.
but I know I cant stop

Anyway, let us know how you will do it so that we can get a Portuguese or a Spanish player to play for you if you can't really play.

Thoughts on Determinism.

I am a firm believer in hard determinism, and my beliefs in determinism (and cyclic universe theory) lead me to believe that god does not exist, not vice versa. I assume that there are quite a few people on this site that aren't determinists, so who is willing to argue with me?

How did you first learn about Diplomacy?

One of my History teachers in middle school had our whole class play it. I think we were making two moves a week or so, and his plan was to actually grade us on how well we did. I was Germany and was kicking ass... until someone snuck into the classroom one day after school was out and knocked over all the pieces. Our teacher hadn't written down the positions so the game just ended. It was lame, but some friends and I started playing on our own.

I need help joining games

Hello Developer: The game won't let me join games. Why would that be? I log in correctly, even changed my password, logged out then back in, but when I try to join games the system tells me I am using an incorrect password.

Is there a different password for joining games??? Obviously I am using the corrrect password to sign in, otherwise this wouldn't be happening, so I am confused.

Probally should have been in the developers thread.....

It would be similar to something similar to the facebook mobile notifications. A way for people without mobile internet to stay connected. Anyone with more knowlege about the plausibility of this should share their opinion.

World Diplomacy order entering buggage

As the leader of the Ghanaian contingent in this game, I have found that I am unable to properly enter movement orders. The browser freezes and the game interface does not accept the move. I shall give more details in the subsequent reply.
