Also, seriously, only play games of 1.5 or two day lengths. Thats what I do. It gives you that buffer.

Don't let your reliability get hammered by NMRs. If you need to clear out some short deadline games, you might put the up and let people take over for you.

I stopped playing dip entirely and I found the forum is enough to fuel my addiction.

I would honestly advise you not to join any new games until you've got everything on track, feel bored because you have all your work done.. and then consider joining a game. Priorities are good to get straight. If you don't get them straight, you may be forced to suddenly give up on dip (or college) entirely once you're really stressed out. If you really start to miss dip, you will maintain a steady rate of games probably because you start a new game when you can handle and feel the itch, but if like me you find all kinds of other activities that are more enjoyable, you will be perfectly happy to lurk on the forum without playing. Treat it as a win-win situation: either you do better in college and still play dip games, or you do better in college and you find something better than dip games. My life got better. 'Reset' a bit rather than continuing with what you do out of a habit and see what you're inclined towards when the habit no longer plays a role.
