How can I get some of that Putin money like Manafort?
What's it take to get on Putin's payroll? That guy pays a lot!
Just found out that Manafort owns an apartment at Trump Tower. I presume it's on a lower floor than Trump. Do the wires from Trump's penthouse travel through Manafort's level?

Treason depends on the definition of Enemy
Art III, Sec 3 of the Constitution defines treason, sort of. It depends on who an "Enemy" is. Back in the day when war was declared by Congress and peace was made by treaty, this was not a problem...

Climate Change Denial
So recently I've been considering becoming a climate change denier. What are people's thoughts on this? What would be some pros and cons to becoming one?

Pros:

• you get to casually defy logic and nobody is surprised, might get a Cabinet seat out of it
• you don't have to think about a mass extinction, worldwide water shortages, ugly disease epidemics, famines, and economic turmoil
• free bumper sticker: "Obama is the antchrist"

Cons:

• none, really

You don't have to stress about politicians everywhere not doing enough to save the environment anymore.

Pros ,

1.You dont have to give a flying F**k about anyone but yourself.
2. You dont have to wear sunscreen.
3. you can buy that beachside property you have been eyeing off.
4. You can plan to go see Holiday at a pacific Atoll in your 80's and not rush into it now

Cons

1. The lobotomy..

Pros and cons compared to what?

There are many positions one can take regarding climate change. You can be a true believer, torn apart by guilt caused by your very existence. A delusional smug believer, who is convinced climate change is a big problem that could be solved by buying a Prius, watching a couple of documentaries, and going on the occasional march to hold poorly designed placards and meet girls. The popular agnostic position, perhaps, where you are vaguely aware of a thing called climate change, haven't really experienced it yet, so are quite happy just getting on with life.

Personally I reckon being an actual denier is too much like hard work.

Much easier to be satirical from the comfy armchair on the sidelines and snipe at all sides, as demonstrated by Octavious.
MajorMitchell (978 D)
Mon 20 Mar UTC
PS Octavious, you forgot the pragmatic climate change believer, possibly because it's harder to satarise them. They're those people who do moderate their personal consumption, change their habits, and do what they can without being extremists. Some of these people are the scientists who are working to better understand the problems and find solutions, of those supporting these scientific efforts.
Much easier to satarise "convenient stereotypes"
MajorMitchell (978 D)

Aaarrrggghhh typos.."or those supporting", not "of those"

For all I know this pseudo science is just the elites trying to gain more power by pushing for an air tax.
MajorMitchell (978 D)
Mon 20 Mar UTC
That would be a "hot air" tax..
So expect Politicians to exempt themselves from having to pay that & go broke
orathaic (1009 D (B))
Mon 20 Mar UTC
There is this tax: http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_589b18a3e4b09bd304bef21b

Planned by republicans, but it appears to be taking power away from polluters and giving it back to people, so i'm kinda in favour.

Why are people not playing LIVE games nowadays?
I am back after a long time. 4 years to be precise. But when I left, there used to be a lot of LIVE games all the times. Now, whenever I peek the website out of curiosity, I never find a LIVE game. I tried making rooms, but no one ever joined!

What happened here? :p
Care to brief me a bit?

RIP Chuck Berry
Of all the people that have influenced music in the last 60 years, from the Beatles to Muddy Waters to whoever you like, Chuck Berry will probably be the one they still talk about hundreds of years down the road. A real legend in music.

World Diplomacy Map Alterations
Hello WebDiplomacy. I have a group of people are making a physical World Diplomacy map for a big event, but we have agreed the board has some problems. Most of the people weighing on this issue say they want to take away South Africa's unit in Antarctica and instead put it in Madagascar as a fleet. However, I am worried that, unless South Africa and Argentina actively worked to stop this, it would give Antarctica too many possibilities for expansion in its home continent.
