I want to learn how to code, but am having trouble deciding where to start. Their are many free resources, online classes, boot camps, etc. I would prefer to teach myself, but lack the knowledge to know what language I should be learning first and so on. Any tips from the experienced code writers here on WebDip?
Is there a rule against holding a stalemate indefinitely even though the situation is clear? I think he's hoping the rest of us give up and leave, which if it isn't against the rules yet then it should be.
I don't particularly care for PPSC. But saw that another thread was having this discussion as a sidebar and thought it fair to start a discussion thread. There is reasonable support for PPSC and regardless of the majority opinion the minority's should be heard.
I don’t know if this has been suggested but: 1. In draws have everyone alive share the pot equally (As they should because SoS is garbage) 2. In a solo, the soloist gains a portion of the pot equal to 18* divided by the number of centers controlled by the soloist or survivors (but not neutral centers or those of resigned powers) and the survivors split the remainder proportionally based on their center count. *Or however many
I wasn't a huge fan of it, but we should do a going away game for the World Map, similar to the Inaugural Known World 901 game we're running. Same deal, we get a mod to make the game the last one before they officially shut it off.
This game: http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=187862 Attempted Daju to Makuran with Al-Qatta'i support. Somehow, the support is showing as cut, even though no unit attacked Al-Qatta'i. Also, the orders page is showing an error. Please help.
Hey Kiddos someone has to carry Krellin's weight around here! Join up for the greatest So-N-So game yet!!!! No safe spaces,no bitching or crying allowed! Leave your feelings at the sign up button because they will get destroyed!!! We need to continue the legacy of helping bring people closer together via insults!!
From our group of people newly registered people seem unable to see the join button on that page while people that were involved in our previous game (so already had accounts) have been able to. The problem might be transient (in that so far no new users have been able to join but some already registered users have, but not all of the time). I've already e-mailed the mods but thought I'd access the knowledge base of all you guys? Any ideas? Did I set it up incorrectly? If you click the link to the game can you see the join button?
Which step was step one again, DO? Was that where he takes back his comedy cube in order to make "improvements", or when he donates a bunch of money to the site to also "improve" it, or was it one of the other things?
(Thanks jmo for everything that you've been doing these past couple weeks! It's greatly appreciated.)
Thanks a lot jmo. I'll set it up again. BTW we setup a new account today to attempt to try to find a solution the problem username=troubleshoot. It got flagged as a multiple account person so I got a "hey, stop cheating" e-mail. I've replied to that e-mail but thought I'd let you know too in case the mods are compartmentalized. Thanks again!
Yeah, if you or any of your other friends made a 2nd account due to the registration problems have them let the moderator team know at firstname.lastname@example.org asap. The moderator team here tries very hard to make sure games are fairly played by keeping everyone limited to 1 account.
If you do run into problems with the game when it's set up again please message me or email the moderator team.
