Robert McNamara was not the Defense Secretary during WWII. Furthermore, the Defense Department did not exist during WWII. It was still called the War Department back then.
Furthermore, if this was 1944 and you were commanding American forces in the Pacific, how would you go about forcing a Japanese surrender?

"you need to be put out of harms way, somewhere like Texas where the fascists seem to be having a resurgence, I'm sure you'd feel right at home."
"I think they've found GunFighter in Colorado"
Yes, because with my clearly evident libertarian sympathies and extreme opposition to a police state obviously proves that I am a fascist. Also, I am neither in police custody nor in Colorado.
"This is either the sickest troll ever"
Vietnam and Iraq, the two unnessecary wars that I was thinking of, were marginally unjustified and more of a result of corruption (combined with, in the case of Vietnam, anti-communist zeal) than any true imperialism.
There is a point where the North Korean military (independent from its leadership) and to a lesser extent the oppressed people of North Korea are complicit in their leader's suicidal insanity. Seriously, overthrow the asshole. The Egyptians and the Libyans pulled it off. They have had long enough to overthrow him. You have to admit that Kim-Jong Un is a credible threat to the rest of the world. I'm not advocating a first strike, I'm just saying that if he hits anyone the free world should hit back swiftly and decisively.
