I was just pointing out that there are some nuts in Israel that wouldn't be awfully upset if it was. Unfortunately, some of these nuts have legitimate power and support.

I never said or implied anything of the sort, try reading. I just mentioned that he said it. He did. I dont think, and didnt mean to imply (and dont think I did) that it is israels position to exterminate all palestinians. When I said "I just think its telling" 'm not saying there is some kind of conspiracy here. I'm just saying I think it illuminates the mindset a bit that someone in so high a position would think like that.
You could say the same thing about any gaffe. What about the recent republican rape gaffes? I could say 'I think its telling' and I would be commenting on the american christian right's anti-woman stance.

I think that most people, when faced with a painful problem with no easy answers, have said something along the lines of "shoot the bloody lot of them" without the slightest inclination of doing anything of the kind. Sure, but I dont think people say things without at least a grain of truth. Overall I dont think this is really a big deal invictus is the one who made an issue of it. Honestly I dont see a big difference between what israel is doing to the palestinians now, and what USA did to american indians. Or british/dutch/boer/whoever did to native south africans. It just seems to me a pretty clear cut case of settler mindset and actions. I'm not saying everything all palestinians do it just and right (FYI hamas and palestinians are not synonymous... you know who you are) I'm just saying I see palestinian actions as ultimately in self defense. Even the high jackings and such in the 70's. I'm not saying I agree or they were good, just that they were resistance to an oppressor.
