Thanks. I do call some regular my dear or by name. I have been at my job long enough that the regs know me by name now as well.

I constantly switch 1/2 of words while speaking, like " I have to go get cas in the gar"

I play the flute, but only for my kids and only two songs both titled with people's first names. "Vincent" by Don McLain, & "Wendy" by some other 60's band.

I used to play flute for my neice and nephew. My nephew used to call the flute my lipstick.

@vexlord, I do stuff like that too. But I feel like it's a bit genetic in my case, as my Dad has a mild form of dyslexia.

Also, I find it absolutely hilarious that Putin, PE, Draug and those other clowns whos names I can't remember somehow turned this thread into a debate about the possible negative connotations of the word 'girl'. Just look it up in the dictionary and be done with it, morons. Not everything on the WebDip forum has to be some long conversation about an offhand remark...

It's whose, genius. And whom is the form of who used when who is an object or is used with a preposition.

As in "The Who are amazing. We saw The Whom in concert in 1966."

I saw The Whom in their farewell tour. It was in 1984 I think.

I know, I know. I'm using a proper noun in the place of a second person objective case interrogative / indefinite pronoun. Yada yada yah.

Probably so, I have a reed flute that I got at the Renaissance Festival back in the late 80's. The thing is great. I'll comepletely ignore it for three years or so. Then dig it out from the back of the closet or wherever it wound up, and it sounds like new. The guy that made it does work only by mail / internet now. Really nice intruments though. I had no idea what I was buying.
