Because there are those who complain about a lack of Diplomacy Topics
One of the weakest parts of my game is that I don't go to other players with plans, but rather listen to plans, and adapt my strategy. Do you prefer to engage first, or listen to others? And how would you suggest I improve upon actively engaging with other players with ideas rather than waiting for them to come to me?

Muting is a curious feature
Apparently, you cannot mute a banned player. I discovered this when I tried muting bullshiot threads to make scouring the forums for an old thread easier. Curious indeed. By one's banning, they become like the mods: immutable.

Don't blame the free website for Tettleton's Chew
A free website is a website where a party may sign up for completely voluntary and free goods and/or services.
Any posting or trolling in the forums by a 3rd party is not a free website transaction. You muting a Tettleton's Chew after work is a free website transaction.

Introducing a friend to the game, I have set up a low ( 10 D ) entry game for him to get started in, 19 hrs till it starts, three places to fill, looking for newbie tolerant veterans, who feel like participating in a training exercise, kinda like a dummy hand of cards, except end result sticks...

Do you like pop tarts? Yes or no.

If yes, what is your favorite flavor(s) and why?

If no, what would you rather have for breakfast?

And are pop tarts and milk a suitable afternoon snack for a 46 year old man?

Pop tarts? Do they still make them???

A definite no, with a list of alternatives so long it would be impossible to list them all. But a quick half dozen off the top of my head...

1: Eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, beans, hash browns and black pudding
2: Porridge (the English way with milk/cream and jam/syrup in the middle, not the Scottish way with salt)
3: Egg and bacon sandwich
4: Muesli (with nuts and fruit)
5: Toast (with homemade jam, honey, or marmalade)
6: Pancakes (sugar and lemon filling)

When did this come up in the Admin smackdown?

No I don't really like poptarts or any breakfast really, but if I have to oatmeal and/or a small thing of cottage cheese.

@Draugnar: www.marksdailyapple.com

No....pop tarts are worthless horrifying creations of a lazy, stupid society. "HERE...hyuck hyuck...put this in that thar toaster oven...hyuck hycuk..."

Lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks with pretty much no change in physical habits, NOT hungry (in fact, feel full longer), eating meat, healthy fat (like yummy BUTTER and bacon), veggies and fruit....NOT bread/grain, NO refined sugar (I just described a POP TART...)...check out the website, Draug....seriously. sign up for the news letter. First 7 emails discuss the *science* behind the diet....why carbs are bad, why GRAINS are bad etc....very interesting stuff, and, I will vouch, effective. My wife is only half following the diet and still dropped a pants size in 3 weeks.

Octavious #1 -- Perfect breakfast, except for the beans....which are OK, but not the best (you know that "Beans beans the musical fruit, the more you eat the more you toot" thing....that is your body saying that beans don't digest so well....i.e. not the best food...)

Everything else Octavius said suggests is worthless carbs. Bahh!!!

Draugnar....want a great afternoon snack? Go by a food dehryator and make yourself some delicious beef jerky! THAT is a good afternoon snack. Healthy protein, slow to digest, keeps you full, provides your body with essentials...Milk is....ehhh?....depends upon your lactose tollerence. I bought a Soda Stream and drink a lot of carbonated water with a squeeze of lemon. Better than water, has some flavor....but isn't full of sugar and other stuff i don't need. (But I dooooo love milk....but I have given it up...lactose...)

On the topic of beans, the intestines do get used to them if you eat them often. When I first became a vegetarian, all the legumes practically turned me into a skunk for the first few months, but I'm fine now and still eating legumes of some sort almost every day. Also, beans are awesome.

Guinness record for longest convoy?
I'm in a World Diplo game, and we are almost done. A 4 way draw in this very, very long game! I'm wondering if anyone knows the World's Record for longest convoy. We are trying one that will use 25 fleets! If that's the record, please let me know, ASAP, as I can ask us to change it to use 26 fleets.

Thanks!
