I play, but I'm not really any good, same as I'm not any good at Diplomacy, lol.
It's funny but I was recently thinking about how a game of Diplomacy played by the TF2 classes (with some pairing up) would go. A cool little fact is that Diplomacy was invented around the time TF2 is set. The countries distributed as so:
France-Spy
Russia-Heavy (I have more centres to start with? FEAR ME COWARDS!)
Germany-Medic (easy 3)
England-Soldier+Demoman
Soldier wanted to play America of course, but after finally accepting that there is no America is Dip, went for the only country that speaks the same language (had to ask first to find out which one speaks English). Demo picked Britain, as he (rightly) insists it should be called, cos it includes Scotland. The rest of team ignore him and call it England anyway.
Austria- Since actually the dual Austro-Hungarian Empire, this is the other paired one, with Engie and Pyro, since they rather work well together (spy check FTW). Plus, what with him/her not being able to talk clearly, it would seem unfair to have Pyro on their own.
Turkey-Sniper
Near the edge of the board, like how Sniper is away from the front lines, picking off people.
Italy-Scout
Left over, also I suppose the weakest of the countries (or so I've read), which Scout is amongst the team, unless played well (WHY WON'T YOU STOP JUMPING AND LET ME HIT YOU!)
Now, other than lots of drinking (esp from Demo), which goes without saying, how do people think the game would progress considering the classes personalities?
