I think it depends were your friends in it to get somethin or did they actually care for her and really want to be with her. If they really did care for her then it destroys the "bro code" and it would end your friendship with whoever dated her before...

But I suggest that you at least do some investigating into what might be motivating this girl to act this way with guys. Try to learn something about her - even if you don't give a shit about her, it will better prepare you for interactions with her, protect you against certain things, etc.

IMHO it does NOT break the bro code if the breakup was mutual or the guy dumped the girl. However, if the girl dumped the guy, then it IS against the bro code.
