Crazy Story

So a women in labor, on her way to the hospital, had to stop in for her coffee fix before she gave birth tonight. My co-worker and I were very much like wtf over it.

Sorry, Putin, I missed the part where you logically demonstrated how you know Alderian only believes in innocence until proof of guilt for white people. In fact, by claiming that Alderian supported police beating OWS protesters (who are predominantly white) without a trial, isn't that evidence that he does not? It would be evidence of a contradictory position, sure. But even taking your claim without evaluating its accuracy, your position re: Alderian is logically inconsistent. As, again, is your position regarding my own beliefs, as I state again that I haven't stated anything about the case itself here.

Speaking of logical inconsistencies, how's the mental backflips you're having to do to justify support of a non-state actor's legitimate use of violence while defending Stalinist Communism?

Thucy - I'm asking for Putin's response, as he's defending the placement of a kidnapping bounty as legitimate while claiming to defend the ideology which probably is the most ardent defender of state monopoly of legitimate use of force. This is a contradiction as obvious as it is dangerous to his position.

Putin - are you serious? What if Zimmerman refused to be detained by the prospective bounty collector? Would it not be use of force to restrain him against his will and detain him elsewhere?

Well, that's what the whole case would be about, and the girlfriend's testimony would be hugely damaging to Zimmerman.

I don't know if Chavez has control of the judiciary in Venezuela or not. I'd even think not, since the recall referendum was allowed to happen. But shootings like this definitely do happen, since the crime there has skyrocketed since he took over. But let's not derail this into a thing on Chavez. If you want that battle start a new thread.

So you place no value on the ideal of equality before the law and support vigilantism. Good to know. Plus people are doing things about it, but through the system like civilized people. And you know what, it very well could work.

that being said, i think i can predict a response putin could use.

hereinafter is the only acceptable exception to "the state should have a monopoly on force" (after the jump)

if the state is wrong.

so this is why i actually usually have respect for the black panthers lol. but in this case, maybe start doing vigilanteism after there is an unfair ruling, not while the justice system is still doing its sorry work.

If you're a member of the Nation of Islam, as many New Black Panthers are, then it's the safest bet in the world that you share at least some of the vile positions Farrakhan has. I just can't understand why his antisemitism doesn't poison them for like like the alleged antisemitism of some leaders in Czechoslovakia and Hungary poisoned their struggles against occupation for you. Unless, of course, you're just a Stalinist shill.

This site claims that the whole case has been misrepresented in the media. For example, it says it is disputed that the Zimmerman called Martin a coon, but rather possibly referred to him a "goon" or a punch or a crook (the audio is apparently unclear).

Another point is that the picture of Martin widely shown in the media from when he was just 12 years old rather than 17 years old (he has grown quite a bit).

Some might say if you are willing to even consider that some of this is remotely plausible it is because you are racist bigot.
