I did not have consumer cost in mind when I spoke of it being bourgeois. Burger King is an infamous multi-national corporation. Its existence in foreign countries speaks to capital's penetration of those countries. All fast food companies treat their farm laborers like slaves. I cannot think of a single major fast food chain which hasn't been subject to a boycott based on labor practices.
