You're a very defensive person Putin. I think you're highly intelligent, but I think sadly you've been duped, and that you political views are being used to bring on an agenda that is tyrannical. Not to single you out though, I feel the same way about the right. BOTH sides of this polarized debate in the United States are dupes, playing into the hands of powerful forces that have a very slick and systematic way of getting well-intentioned people on both sides to fight each other, and pay no attention to the REAL enemy lurking in the shadows.

The sad part is that the true enemies of our Republic are the ones who are both making guns so easy to obtain, and lobbying for their total ban. It's the Hegalian Dialectic in full force.

It's all done to the same end whether it comes from the left or the right.

Liberal people get upset about a particular wrong and the fake-left politicians come up with a plan to solve it, but within that plan is an erosion of the personal freedoms of the people. Similarly, conservative people upset about a particular wrong and the fake-right politicians come up with a plan to solve it, but within that plan is an erosion of the personal freedoms of the people. Liberals want to help people, and in doing so they help enact policy that erodes the freedoms of the many to protect the few. By contrast, conservatives have been duped into believing that we're under a real threat from outside forces, and thus are willing give up freedoms and strangely increase governmental intrusion into the lives of the People, in order that they feel safe. Very odd dynamic playing out.

3) No, i'm happy for the police to be unarmed, as they have been in Ireland since the creation of this state.

Likewise i feel safe in my home because any criminal who comes into my home or bumps into me in the street can be almost certain that i'm not armed, the most they will need is a knife.

It is much easier to run away from a knife.

Lastly, IF i am attacked, the criminal is likely to strike first, meaning i may not be able to get to my gun (which as a hypothetical responcible gun owner i would have safely locked away to prevent my hypothetical children from injuring themselves)

Oh, and if my wife loses it, the chances of her picking up a gun and shooting me are much smaller (and most murders are perpetrated by someone you know, for emotional reasons, as opposed to being premeditated)

Okay enough about guns. What do we do about pepper spray? Is it a vegetable?

@MichiganMan -- I'm looking at 8 pages titled MIAC Strategic Report on the Modern Militia Movement from 2/20/09 -- Is that what you referred to earlier, and what point do you feel it makes? (It's interesting enough reading, but I don't see how it fits in with your argument.)

Jesus Christ, can people stop trying to analyse each other here? I mainly see this in regards to people analysing Putin (he must be a Marxist-Leninist because his daddy beat him or something), but it goes for and to everyone. I doubt anyone here has a bachelors in psychology, let alone practising, so shut the fuck up.

P.S. Yes, my mummy killed my dog when I was six years old which is why I am swearing and lashing out at everyone.
