The best thing to do in these situations is to first figure out if/where support has been cut, remembering that a unit cannot cut support to a move that is directed at itself. Therefore these '2 on 2' situations always result in a bounce (red moves to red for both) or both moves succeeding (red moves to yellow for both)

No worries guys :) Thanks for the explanation, but, yes, I just needed a quick verification that my thinking was correct. I was going to use a supported bounce to make a move out of one place and defend two others. It was a little bit too much going on in my head and I was afraid I got mixed up. I just needed that vote of support to make sure I figured it out right in the end. I got a bit rusty on the more complex move sets because I have only just recently got back on the site.

As to points, yes, I played a lot when this site was still phpDiplomacy and have only just been getting back in this past two months. I got the large majority of the points from a big PPSC game I won against MadMarx and some other big point folks at the time. I think it was the game that got MadMarx into 1st position for the first time, though I may be mistaken there. In short, yes, I know what I am doing for the most part :) Oh, and shut up orathaic. What if France supports Picardy to Belgium from the English Channel as well? What happens then?

Santosh, I believe it would bounce because it is still a 2 v 2 situation in essence, just another 2 are involved (2 v 2 v 2). It is the same as a 2 unit force from each country trying to enter the space.

So the German move to Belgium certainly doesn't succeed. Outside of the fact that the English move from Belgium to Holland and the German move from Holland to Belgium equal each other, France has a 2-attack on Belgium, so can you potentially adjudicate that the German move to Belgium fails because of the French attack on it, and so the English move to Holland succeeds?

The moves all get strength 2 for prevention, defense and attack. With as result that eveything bounces.
