I've sent out all the invitations for the first six games, but decided to make a seventh, partially to see if I will get a different great power in all games (so far so good, four games, four different great powers)! Well, all games have started and I didn't get each great power once, but I did only repeat one, which means there is only one great power I am not playing, so that's a pretty good sampling, I'll certainly take it...

Playing seven games at once isn't the most difficult thing to do, but starting seven games at once is pretty much a nightmare, especially after not playing any games for a month or so... Will be interesting to see how this experiment turns out...

I'd say so. The odds you getting each country only once in 7 games is less than 5%, so duplicating one and having 6 of the 7 is pretty low, too. Dunno how Kestas' coding changes those odds since he is giving a little force to the country distribution, but I bet it's pretty fun playing 6 of the 7 countries currently.

I can't imagine how much more difficult it would be having 3 or more games with the same country... i'm sure i'd get the orders and messages mixed up...

Now, I knew I couldn't win them all, but I did hope to do well in most, come on people, cut me some friggin' slack!! :-(

better yet, here is a contest. I'll put up 100 daggers (mods can transfer) for whomever gets closer... 7 pts for a win, 6 for 2way draw, 5 for a 3 way draw... how many points would MM get?

so I'd say, 2 wins at 14, 1 3way at 5, 2 4way at 8 + 0 for his loss/survives... that would put him at 27pts according to my calculations...

Damn, I want to bet... Before things started my guess would have been:

solos: 0
3-way draws: 4 (or 3)
4-way draws: 2
defeat: 1 (or 2)
survive: 0

My bet is for 2 wins, 2 3-way draws and one 4-way draw for a total of 28 . I also predict 1 survive and 1 defeat. And for an SC count, I'll say 67 SCs.

I must mention, I'm in one of those games with him. I'm the one who caused him the 1 defeat that gman predicted. ;)

I know I'm disqualified, but I'm still guessing, and not based on how things are going, just how I think I would guess on any set of seven games, which clearly involves a bit of wishful thinking:

28 (four 3-ways and two 4-ways)

68 centers (12 in the 3-ways, 10 in the 4-ways)

So, how do you two know each others' identities in anonymous games where MadMarx specifically said not to try to guess identities?

BTW, my prediction of numbers of wins, draws, survives, defeats was based solely on MM's current record to date.

I assumed The Czech was joking, so I joked right back. I have run into a number of people that can guess my identity, even without playing before, so The Czech may actually know who I am, if we are indeed in a game together, but he may not. Regardless, I can assure you I that I am unsure if The Czech is in the Invitational, 42 different people are in those games and I sent out more than 42 invitations, so my brain doesn't even try to keep track, as I originally stated would be the case.
