Hi guys, I added the donor icons but there were 30 or so people who donated with a different e-mail address than they're using here. If you should have a donor icon but don't e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org telling me which e-mail address you donated with.
Thanks again to all who donated, we've just got the 2 year lease for the dedicated host, and everything seems to be going well :-)
I saw that donations were still accepted right after I posted. I sadly don't have a job right now, and my wife already puts up with me spending more time here than I should. So maybe I shouldn't donate her money to a game she despises... Maybe... Expect some symbol next to my name soon!
Yours was one of the emails that got moved up when the thresholds were lowered spyman, but because of the webdip / paypal email mismatch I must have missed you. I need to find a better system to track donation sources :-/ this is going to be hard to maintain
In general we wont disclose the thresholds though, because its not paying for the marker the marker is just to indicate you donated (e.g. marker levels may change again, and anyone who felt they had paid for that marker would be annoyed)
Thanks Kestas. Yes I can see this could prove to a bit of a headache. But on the long term it could prove an effective way of maintaining revenues. But you need to think of way that makes it less of a chore. I forget which email I use for paypal. It was originally hotmail but I thought I had changed it to gmail - the same as my webdip account.
He'd have to constantly update those every month, diplo554. And considering kestas doesn't run the GR calcs, that might be a bit much to ask him to do. But I like the idea. Heck, they could come in top 10 - Platinum, top 50 - Gold, top 100 - Silver, and top 250 - Copper.
Horton the V, Green Eggs and Hamlet--SEUSSPEARE! (Mix-And-Match Writing Thread!)
So, if you haven't seen it...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3w2MTXBebg
I found it funny (of course) and so did my friends, and we got to wondering...what WOULD happen if the two masters merged? SO--Shakespeare and Dr. Seuss...what would THAT look like? ;) (Feel free to mix other authors, too!) :D
Sweeping generalization about a contentious issue.
Broad statement of subjective opinions masquerading as objective fact. Implication that those that disagree are not only in the wrong, but are subhuman. Stop "thinking", humanzees! Listen only to me! My thoughts are kind of a big deal.
Please, investigate the game http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=66064 it looks like there are multiple accounts of a same person here. Many users AFK, or making way too stupid moves to belive. I'm talking about a whole America and Turkey with India. Please, investigate, cause the game goes fail because of that.
Ok. Well I am in a SoW game. My TA messaged me, After I read it I went to write back and when I clicked on his name to message him, it said "Error triggered: Undefined index: DonatorPlatinum." And won't let me message him. >.>
Everybody in the game agreed to pause and everybody voted for it EXCEPT OZ who wrote 'good luck' to those in the storm but never put in the vote. I'm thinking he didn't know what he was supposed to do. Please pause this game until after the storms. Everyone agrees but there's only 2 hours left.
I am playing a world map and 2 players are in some insane-coordinated alliance. Then i notice that both players are always "last seen" in similar time with 10-20 minutes difference. It is obvious that the player is multi-accounting. How can i rapport him to check him out?
