I remember someone posted a while ago a link to a webDiplomacy page, but I can't find the post. This page had a list of all the private messages and deadline processing on it, but it wasn't the homepage. Does anyone have a link to it?
The rules encourage players to let someone solo so that they can get a strong second position. HOW MOTHERFUCKING STUPID IS THAT? My first and last time I participate in this embarrassment of a tournament. Shame on whoever designed this shit.
I was waiting from about 1903 for Russia, Italy, and France to be eliminated so we could draw the game. I know I shouldn't play with a goal of drawing; I just think I somehow saw the stalemate coming from really far back.

Actually, jc, I was hoping you'd stab Austria and then create a smaller stalemate line; then we could have had a three-way draw instead of four. I think it might have been possible; I'd have to search the map, though.
jc-- at the time you stabbed me, i was about to get a build in por & have fleets in west med, spa, por, naf. i don't understand why you thought i'd need help keeping eng out of the med. with my build i could've supported you into aeg. ael-- i thought a smaller stalemate might've been possible, too, which is why i anticipated a stab from t
jc, jm: It's irrelevant; there is not only a stalemate line at the end of the Mediterranean but also one running down the west coast of Italy. Either way, the game would have been drawn; the difference was that at that point the Eastern powers could afford to remove Italy from the game without me or Germany having a solo shot.
