I am no longer able to log in, does anyone know why (I have tried 7 different computers across 4 different wifi channels with both mine, and my brothers account. So its not a problem with me) The main question is when will it be back up?
Why not all the players bet always the same amount of points? For example here http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=42145 Everyone bets 10 but russia (11) and austria (17). Why is this so?
there should be a game mode that is PPSC but no draws. i am sick of people going into games with the idea that there will be a 2-3 person draw from the start. the only way a draw in these game should be initiated is if there are no advancements from any side able an admin or whatever can assess the game and make sure it is actually draw, otherwise itd be cancelled
I would like to see if it is possible to collect enough italian speaking people so that we can organize from time to time a PW protected game where only Italian is spoken.
Is there any way to eliminate a no-show from a game? We've started but have a player who never even logged in to the game. We can't draw or cancel without unanimous approval. How does one resolve this conundrum?
I entered my orders and clicked save. It appeared that the orders were accepted; the 'save' button became greyed and the 'ready' button became enabled. However, when I clicked 'ready' none of my orders were accepted and the turn processed with all my units standing still :(
Everyone loves talking about what you were thinking and how surprised you were by a player's move or a stab, but no one outside of your game gives a shit. The only exception is games with good players like the Mad Marx games who's commentary would actually help people get better
Was the players name "Auto" or was that a mistake caused by the game being anonymous? And should the code-like text <inside triangular brackets> be there or was that triggered by the same thing? I'm not complaining, I'm just asking.
I wouldn't usually post this on the forum, but it's been up for a week now... Ancient Med game, PPSC, 90 . Join or I'll do terrible but sexy things to all your female relatives.
With the preliminary rounds finally resolved, we move on to the championship. Same rules as before: four games, anon, 25-hr phases, same point scoring system, points winner after four games is the champion.
I'm just getting back in to Diplomacy as I haven't played for a while, and I thought I would start off with a global match. Then I thought it might be even more interesting if it was a World Diplomacy global match.
I just started on this and I need a little help... I joined a match that was scheduled to start in an hour so I closed the screen and left the site, I get on now when it should be starting and I can't find out how to join it, if I look in my games the only ones in there are those that have yet to start... please help
In autumn 1905 of gameID=42802, I believe disbands were improperly adjudicated. Russia was in civil disorder, and had a unit in St. Pete and in Black Sea, yet Black Sea was not disbanded - Sevastopol was.
How about including some sort of reliability rating for players, so that a game's creation criteria could include a way to prevent frequent NMRers from playing?
Played England... interesting seesaw between France, Germany and I... got overconfident on the turn Germany moved out of the Scandinavian centers... ah well... lucky Turkey didn't solo that game!
I didn't expect to win in my first WTA game (I was England), gameID=42868 but I'm suspicious that Turkey gave up on the possibility of winning in Autumn '09 with the simple move F Irish Sea to Lvp. Does this play look odd to anyone else?
Got a note that a user was banned and to see the game for details, but it being a gunboat, there's no chatbox. Still there's a message saying unread messages, but no apparent way to check them. Is this a feature?
