No, but you listed the game. That has it's own implications.

The mods may not make it before the game ends, but they have many tools to catch the cheats even after the fact and other tools to punish them and undo some of the damage done.

You are relatively new here, so your suspicions of cheating may be that you've never experienced well coordinated gunboating from experienced players before, or it may truly be someone is cheating. The mods will get to the bottom of it.

I don't even think there was ANY coordination in that game. It was every man for himself till the end.

And I just went through the moves so far and, as an experienced gunboat player, all looks kosher to me.

People leave live games all the time. They run out of time or lose internet connectivity. Going CD means nothing.

Germany didn't leave either. He missed one movement phase. Hardly leaving. And Lando is an established and respectable player.

Only in live games is it "common" and even that is an exageration.

yeah i was only in it the last little bit. I saw an open germany and thought the game would become a runaway for england. so i joined to try and even it up a bit.

Ah. BE glad you got a respected player to keep it from being a runaway. But even so, CDing doesn't mean the original Germany was cheating.

Absolutely and completely frowned upon to abandon a game. That's why we have a stat for player's that shows their "left" games. With that opinion, you will be a very welcome addition to our little community. Welcome aboard Inspector Rex. If you want to play langer games, I'll be happy to play with you.

As for the bit earlier about CD a good postion check out this game that Germany went CD in.I've played with some of the players in the game before and don't suspect anything wrong.just that some times people join games and something comes up.

Sorry, but I'm an American and can honestly say I'd never heard of, much less seen, Inspector Rex. Most of my exposure to European TV is Doctor Who, Torchwood, and some of the Mystery and Masterpiece Theater series like the old Granada "Sherlock Holmes" series with Jeremy Brett, Poirot with David Suchet, and Cadfael with Derek Jacobi (one of my favorite Shakespearean actors, along with Kenneth Branagh).

I was playing a live one Friday night that was really going well and great fun, but we cancelled it after a couple of hours because of of the player's had to leave for a short time and another couldn't wait that long to resume play. But it had been 2 hours already and we were having great fun, especially as it was public press only.

that should have been to another player, not in this part of the forum. My PM's are fucking up. Anyone elses'?

Hey dannyboi - you have to be careful with multiple windows. The system remembers the last page you loaded and posts to that page, regardless of the page you typed the message into.
