The continuing search for expert critique!!

This was the last major game I finished, and it was a doozy for some time. I played Italy, and I only got three builds over 7 years, and I only obtained Tunis on the final turn! Are there any diplomatic or tatical possibilities I overlooked over the course of the game?

Diplomacy World Cup CAL Team: Status Check

Guys, I want to know who's in, who's not in, and what's going on with these games, I'm not in one currently, how is everyone else doing, and I believe we need a new gunboat player, if any Californian is interested... mdrltc is the person to talk to in my abscence (which is geneerally during the day, college, so night's beest if you want to talk to me directly.) What A Piece Of Work Is Man- Life, Death, Humanity, Idenity, and Abortion

The Ethics class I am taking has come to this subject. However, before taking on the issue, I feel something must be set aside and something that is far too often overlooked must be examined. we should, I believe, put aside religious views, at least to start, and we absolutely MUST define WHAT IS A HUMAN LIFE AND IDENTIFIED ENTITY? Far too often the subject is discussed with the subject being referred to as "the unborn child," already ascribing it human status. Is it?

To the electrically-minded people on the site; I need help with a wiring problem

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

We have two timers connected to separate outlets. Both timers are connected to the pump.

When only timer A is plugged in, it functions as it should, the pump works when its on and doesnt when its off.

When only timer B is plugged in, it also functions as it should, the pump working when its on and not when its off.

But when both are plugged in, the pump runs regardless of the switches being on or off. (When both switches are off, its still runs)

Here is a rough drawing of how its set up.

If anyone can explain to me why the way we have it wired is not working or explain how to wire it to make it work as we want (with both timers being able to operate the pump) I'd greatly appreciate it.

I'm in class till 4. Also, people on the web don't laugh in your face about poor attempts by Mechies to wire something :P

I can be there at 4 and will look at it if you want. I'd rather do that than give you advice based on an MS Paint schematic and have you kill yourself : )

Heh, nvm, they figured it out while I was sleeping. We were plugging the neutral on the timer switch into the hot from the outlet, apparently. So when the timer switch was off, it was cutting off the neutral, not the hot, so the hot from the timer switch was still going through to the pump, while the neutral from the apc was also still going through, completing the circuit. (so on my ms paint schematic, the black from the timer switch is hot..)

We only tripped the circuit a few dozen times before we got it right. :-)

(and by a few dozen I actually mean 4-5 times :-P)

Baby needs urgent help

So in Kid Cudi's song "Soundtrack to my life", there's a short guitar/piano riff which I'm pretty sure is originally from another song. Here's a link to Kid Cudi's song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-XW-fCoGE8

At 52 seconds, the riff starts (it's the high pitch riff). I can't remember which song that riff is originally in and it's killing me to the point that it's adversely affecting my work and my performance in live wta gunboats.

Wasr Is Not A Game (But When It Was... How Did You Like Playing It?)

Let's be honest: nearly all boys love to play war at some time in their life. REAL war is no game, but... again, to be honest, playground wars ARE one fun game! ;) So... what'd you guys play? "Cowboys and Indians?" "American Revolution?" "World Wars?" With what? How? War might bee hell, I'm sure it is... but when you're ten years old and with buddies on the playground, it can be an awesome afternoon (with exercise... and no blood, gore, and video game gut!) ;)
