I played a regular public press game that had the same problem of a overcrowding of messages.

Would Black Press with the ability to send private 'black' messages be an option?

@Stukus: It was a very interesting game. It would be worth trying again, maybe with Hunter's suggestion above.

I was disappointed that people didn't try harder to fake identities. There were a few attempts to break Italy's code, but people gave up, it seemed to me, shortly before it became obvious how to crack it.

Another thing that I would have liked to see more of was commentary that was deliberately anonymous. That is, comment with the voice of a kibbitzer, even though you're really a player: biased commentary that tries to look unbiased.

But despite those disappointments, it was interesting to watch. If anybody is interested in playing again, I would like to try it.

That looked really interesting, I'd like to try it too. I think it has to be gunboaty, to some extent, but with at least the ability to let rip at your fellow players in retrospect. But even in the talkiest game of dip, you have to judge people by how they move, not by what they say
