I agree with SunZi- I'd say 95% of conspiracy theories are BS.
But there ARE facts missing, and that leaves room to speculate... I don't believe in a 9/11 conspiracy, and I think it foolish for folks to just come out and say "It was all Bush!"
(And I'm no Bush fan, so I'd, to be honest, likely leap at the chance to take a shot if I thought it a real and fair shot...)
There are unexplained bits, but the whole I think we may reasonably guess- after all, we never absolutelyhave all the facts about things in life, there's always that little something that eludes us... if nothing else, the state of things itself, the universe, is a mystery.
So you make your judgment on your best guess, and to hold out for a conspiracy because facts are "withheld" or whatver is absurd.
On the flip side of "no one knows everything about anything," that also means NO religion has ALL the answers OR the ultimate one... just saying "It's in the Bible/Koran/Torah!" or "God said it/It's Jesus' will!" or, worse of all, "Jesus/God Hates ___/Wants me to do ___."
YOU DON'T KNOW GOD.
YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT HE/SHE/IT/THAT ENTITY/THAT FORCE WANTS.
It is rather a lifelong journey to try and discover that for yourself- so don't just pull out your sign and say "GOD HATES FAGS!" or "God is Against Gay Marriage!" or any of that nonsense.
Make your best estimate, and make your decisions- but NEVER say you know 100%, and ALWAYS remember that not only is it a possibility you might be wrong, statistically, with so many differing opinions, all equall valid (or invalid, depending on how you view it) it is in fact likely you are wrong in some way or another, and this is nothing to fear, but rather something to cherish, for it is through admitting that nothing is perfectly solid, no ideal unasailable, that we can find what works and what does not, and make any progress.
Declaring your church knows God inside out and so he hates fags and all that... that's just getting in the way of any real understainding.
