I caught myself making really awful mistakes a few times. Like, I ordered something, finalized, and thought nothing of it, and then later on, because no one finalized, I'm like "ok I guess I'll check this to make sure everything's fine" and I ended up ordering something UTTERLY STUPID and I have to change it. Only once did I fail to catch the misorder, but that time allowed Turkey to escape with a draw :shakes fist:

I've entered initial moves, made some diplomatic offers and then gotten busy and not made it back to check on responses. Totally screwing up my dealings and makes me look like an idiot.

Happened to me for the first time recently, and I went from being in a great alliance to scrambling for my homeland. Of course nobody will believe you, it sucks.

I think more often than not we forget to change our orders and look stupid, rather than "the system" screwing us.

Yeah, it sucks.

I had one where it entirely ignored by orders once. had a turn where I was france and finally broke through the stalemate with germany at the borders, only to be pushed back cuz of my mistake.

oh yeah sure its entirely my own (our own) fault, that's part of why I hate it so much... such shame

My personal issue is when my diplomacy gets eaten. I always copy what I write to the clipboard if I can remember, because sometimes when I hit Send, nothing is sent but what I wrote is gone.

I don't know if it's a browser problem or what, but it happens on two different computers, one Vista and one XP, though both in Firefox.

Easy workaround, but I'm sad when my carefully nuanced writings are lost in the aether, whatever the cause.

I was in an A-I alliance.... and i was being supported into bulgaria.... and i moved to Alb instead and I had a fleet the Ionian and his fleets were far away from tunis... it look like the most perfect stab... i guess i should have just done it anyway. two moves later i misclicked again.... no more trust.

then the juggernaut hit me full force because my misclicks prevented us from having the trust to stop it... worst game ever (and my only two misclicks)

I did have plenty of times where I accidently had a misorder. strangely enough, I never lost a game where I had a misorder, only those were all orders were intentional
