I really wish we could have a place on our home page where we could add games to "watch". It would be really nice to get notifications of turn rollovers, etc... Maybe we can petition kestas for this?

@Ivo - those are your primary responsibilities. you should also be willing to field questions from players in the game, and try to give honest answers. obviously you will still be biased b/c you are also playing after all, but still. the mentors should take most of the questions though, i suppose, so you may not have to answer many, or any.

i wanted to let people know that finally all of School of War Game III is up on the blog. I still have to do Game I... i think i'll get to it early next week.

ivo - one thing I found useful is explaining things to the players as I did them... or sometimes explaining things in the diplomacy as an "aside"... it was useful two ways - 1) by helping me come across as a good 'friend' in-game and 2) it genuinely gave the rookies something to think about that they had not considered before...

so you can take the initiative in explaining things... like telling AH to ask Germany to threaten russia with a bounce in Fall 1901 if Russia moves to Gal in spring 1901... so if coincides with your interest (ie russia not moving to gal in spring 1901) you have shot two birds with one stone... given them great strategic advice AND helped yourself in-game ;)

Most of pregame commentary in other SoWs are about player histories, so thats probably the only one I would get into. Most of it would just be repetitive anyways. But its worth checking the site out. If you read through pre game commentary for everyone you will notice a bunch of common themese (which i hope we have been saying so far).
