I joined this site to play a game with some guys from work because we were tired of entering moves manually using some half assed app. Now I find out I really enjoy playing on the site and have a user name from a 70's joke pickup line. If you get to change your name, I'd be happy to be called "Demon Overlord" - LOL!

Jokes aside, changing usernames is a serious and difficult undertaking. We won't consider doing so for frivolous reasons, but only if personal identification is on the line. Unless you're actually a Demon Overlord in real life, I'm afraid you're out of luck. As a famed Diplomacy player once said, "Diplomacy as a game is all about the consequences of your choices". Sometimes you just have to live with them.

If your real last name is Jablowme, you should speak to a clerk in your local courts before you worry about your webDip name.

On the only other gaming site I was ever a member of, you signed up with a different handle for every game. So, when I create this account, I just went with something really generic.

What about a nick naming system where you can change what your name shows, but if someone clicks on your name it sends you to your page where it shows your real name?
