Cookie Monster Solutions
Instead of regulations, (YAWN), lets have unrestricted gun laws and limitless purchasing. The only rule is the retail employees *must* dress like cookie monster to make gun stores more kid friendly. Offer gun buyers a plate of CoOKiEs.

No.

According to the OP, you have to buy guns, not turn in guns.

I've also yet to hear any real solutions offered of the "too dead serious" issue other than magic wands and fairy dust.

So perhaps put up some dead serious and realistic options or shut the hell up.

I've provided facts from the CDC and FBI on where the real gun problems lies and the response I get is either dead silence, repeating the same myths the facts I have provided counter or that the facts from the CDC and FBI are "bullshit made up facts".

I've offered everyone a platform to discuss solutions and instead of discussing possible solutions you guys whine and cry that the facts aren't real.
MajorMitchell (1605 D)

Have you considered the possibility that it is your interpretations of the cherry picked "facts & stuff" that is being disputed ? The conclusions you make that are erroneous ?
There's that classic example of the false conclusion drawn from two facts..the waiter is French & the waiter had red hair... False conclusion.. All waiters are French & have red hair.
KansasBoyd (25 DX)
17 Nov 17 UTC
But I’m not drawing the conclusions.

I’m repeating conclusions others have done studies on and came to conclusions.

Sorry that is too hard for you to grasp.

But typical liberal agenda. Any facts I don’t like have to be erroneous.

Yet another opportunity for to to provide suggestions for solutions ignored in favor of whining and crying. Just more Talking Loud and Saying Nothing for Mr Loud and Wrong.
MajorMitchell (1605 D)
17 Nov 17 UTC
So you are parroting the incorrect conclusions that others in the anti gun law reform brigade have disseminated..still doesn't make them correct. Please Excuse us for assuming you might have some original thoughts of your own.
MajorMitchell (1605 D)

Where does this continuous incorrect labelling me as a Liberal come from ? Your false assertion that everyone who disagrees with you is a Liberal ? Duh..How many times do I have to make the point that sensible gun law reforms are not exclusively the property of any one political group, AND how many times do I have to highlight the real life example of Australia's MOST CONSERVATIVE Prime Minister, John Howard, the leader responsible for major gun law reforms in our country.. FACT.
A CONSERVATIVE Government enacted major gun law reforms that WORK...DUH. Or are those facts you obtusely choose to ignore ???
KansasBoyd (25 DX)
17 Nov 17 UTC
"So you are parroting the incorrect conclusions that others in the anti gun law reform brigade have disseminated..still doesn't make them correct."

Ahhh yes. Clearly you know more than the noted anit gun law reform brigade known as the CDC and the FBI.

Talking Loud and Saying Nothing.

Still waiting for your brilliant plans to de-arm the gangs.

More than likely it will be just more whining, deflection and stupidity from Mr Loud and Wrong.

Great that it worked in Australia. Sorry you still remain so dumb that you ignore that Australia and the United States are incredible different places no matter how many times that incredibly obvious fact is pointed out.

Yet you will just rinse and repeat the same cookie cutter gibberish.

Am I saying nothing ? Or are you just not listening ?
KansasBoyd (25 DX)
17 Nov 17 UTC
Yeah I am listening.

You are saying the FBI is wrong.

Talking Loud and Saying Nothing.

And definitely saying nothing about how to get the guns away from the gangs you keep ignoring as the biggest gun homicide issue in this country.

Having independent thought and not wanting the government to over regulate things makes me a deplorable person???

LOL!!!

Nice to see how open and inclusive the liberals are.

If they only practiced what they preach.

They think acceptance applies to only what they agree with.

Or I guess asking everyone for a solution on getting guns out of the gangs makes me deplorable.

Yeah that must be it.

Sensible, effective regulation is not equal to over regulation.. Yet another misrepresentation. I do not necesarily say the FBI is wrong, but I question the conclusions as KB represents them, so, another misrepresentation.
KB's notion of independent thinking.. He claims he does it and the rest of us have to agree with him. Classic totalitarianism.
Sets such a great example of openness and inclusiveness
I'm over it..Mute button time.

So the FBI report saying that less than 350 homicides in the entire country were committed with rifles or assault rifles and drawing a conclusion that placing more restrictions on assault rifles won’t greater impact the overall gun violence numbers is a misrepresentation?

You are a clown.

I’ve never said everyone has to agree with me. That is misrepresenting of staggering, hypocritical levels.

We have sensible regulation now but it’s not effective currently.

But me suggesting that maybe we should try and enforce the current restrictions in a more effective manner before adding on more restrictions that will be as ineffective as the current restrictions are currently makes me closed minded and a horrible person. LOL!!! What a clown.

You are the classic example of working harder. Not smarter.

You really are, imho, the most obtuse & provocative blighter
One of the other contributors to this thread demolished your selectively chosen and repetitively used "but the FBI report says this...blah blah blah"..several ? pages back in this thread... But of course you ignore that.
You may not have explicitly said that you expect everyone to agree with you, I just made that conclusion from your behaviour.. Anyone who disagrees with you gets abused and you always insist that you are right... Not just on the topic of gun law reforms... You even refuse to accept that the Almighty Mods got it right in response to your pathetic whining. And called them what ? in a GM in the SoW game.
In my opinion you're not fit to be trusted, not even as a grocer's delivery clerk.. Now shurrup before I taunt you another time.

Gingerbread man recipe.
First dust your right wing ideologue with the whitest of white self raising flour, roll him out flat. Cut him down to size with a sharp knife, and don't worry, he will soon puff himself up again with his own ideas of his self importance once in the oven. Flip him over & stick a fair sized nugget of ginger in his rear vestibule. Flip him back again ( don't worry, flip~flopping comes naturally to these blighters ) and cover with shredded coconut. Carefully remove the split pea masquerading as a brain from his head & replace with a sliver of ginger. A sprinkle of brown sugar all over & a dab of molasses to offset his inherent venom. Then into the pre heated oven, remember to use a low heat setting as you don't want him going brittle & cracking up under any real heat. Once cooked, allow to cool. Best served whilst singing "Camptown Races"

But continue with your delusions.

∆ is satirical, but just to avoid any blowback from a misunderstanding, change cut down to size with sharp knife, to cut down to size with bread & butter knife.
MajorMitchell (1605 D)
19 Nov 17 UTC
I didn't say that the FBI report(s) had been destroyed, just that your interpretations / usage of them had been. By other contributors, who have also knocked over a lot of your other claims, assertions and misrepresentations, imho.
But, please, continue to be a stubbornly obtuse pawn for the gun manufacturers if that rocks your boat KB.
Obviously, in your mind, we're all wrong, and you are an infallible, all knowing "independent" thinker who doesn't tolerate anyone else thinking independently if they disagree with you.
Busted yet again for misrepresentation. Yawn.
MajorMitchell (1605 D)

Typos/ omissions..your interpretations /usages had been demolished was what I posted.
MajorMitchell (1605 D)

Of course you call me, incorrectly a Liberal, the "Liberal" who applauds the reforms of my countries most CONSERVATIVE Prime Minister.. There's a wonderful irony in that.. John Howard is from the Liberal Party of Australia... LoL.So perhaps in your stupidity, rushing for a label you've perhaps got it right..Liberal in Australia means, politically, centre right. Not centre left, or left at all. LoL.
KansasBoyd (25 DX)

So the FBI report showed that rifles and assault rifles accounted for about 1% of gun deaths.

I stated that’s a small percentage of gun deaths.

And you say that’s a misrepresentation of the data?

LOL!!

You are a buffoon. Full on clown show.

Goldfinger dealt with this ∆ ...Most effectively imho.
KansasBoyd (25 DX)
19 Nov 17 UTC
Goldfinger didn’t destroy the FBI report I used against a post calling for banning assault rifles.

He just said it didn’t apply to your stupidity of banning all guns.

One thing that has yet to happen is you provide a solution to get the guns out of gangs.

MajorMitchell (1605 D)
21 Nov 17 UTC
You misrepresent me continually. For example you claim I suggest that "all guns be banned" which is a gross misrepresentation.
I provided a number of suggestions to deal with illegally held firearms.
If you claim that the current gun control policies in the USA are working well, then you just don't have a clue. Trying to blame the problems on Obama is just plain stupid imho.
So i suggest that you're the one talking loud, talking untruthfully, and saying nothing new & nothing constructive.

Studies find that offering cookies to gun buyers reduces the risk of them using these weapons inappropriately.

A cookie is a baked or cooked good that is small, flat and sweet. It usually contains flour, sugar and some type of oil or fat. It may include other ingredients such as raisins, oats, chocolate chips, nuts, etc.

In most English-speaking countries except for the US and Canada, crisp cookies are called biscuits. Chewier biscuits are sometimes called cookies even in the UK.[2] Some cookies may also be named by their shape, such as date squares or bars.

Cookies or biscuits may be mass-produced in factories, made in small bakeries or home-made. Biscuit or cookie variants include sandwich biscuits, such as custard creams, Jammie Dodgers, Bourbons and Oreos, with marshmallow or jam filling and sometimes dipped in chocolate or another sweet coating. Cookies are often served with beverages such as milk, coffee or tea. Factory-made cookies are sold in grocery stores, convenience stores and vending machines. Fresh-baked cookies are sold at bakeries and coffeehouses, with the latter ranging from small business-sized establishments to multinational corporations such as Starbucks.

Mmh, my gun buying, conservative self could use an insanity purging cookie right this moment.

A Harvard study found that the risk of depression is 25% to 35% lower in those who eat a traditional diet. Like dry gingerbread biscuits traditionally eaten at Christmas... Or waffle or wafer cookies made from flour, eggs, sugar, butter or vegetable oil, and flavoring. Mmmh.. vegetable oil
